Saturday: Orange Pumpkin Festival

ORANGE — The first annual Orange Pumpkin Festival is set for Saturday, Oct. 29, at Revival Wheeler Mansion in Orange (rain date Oct. 30) from 4 to 8 p.m. The event will feature kids’ games, pumpkin carving contest, haunted house, craft and food vendors and more.

Nov. 5: Miller’s Woods Ladies Christmas Fair

ATHOL — The annual Miller’s Woods Ladies Christmas Fair returns on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Miller’s Woods/Riverbend Clubhouse at 739 Daniel Shays Hwy., Athol. Highlights includetheme baskets, bake table, Chinese auction, 50/50 raffle, gift certificate raffle, homemade holiday gifts from our craft table, high roller raffle, quilt raffle, and the free welcome raffle. Our snack bar will be operated by Athol High School students and advisor.

Sunday, Nov. 6: New England Pollinators in Winter

Public presentation via Zoom.

We’re all familiar with the amazing annual migrations of Hummingbirds and Monarch Butterflies, but what about the rest of our northern pollinators? Where do they go in the winter? Nov. 21: Athol Golden Age Club

ATHOL — The Athol Golden Age Club meets Monday, Nov. 21, at noon at the Athol Senior Center, 82 Freedom St. Thanksgiving Potluck and Toys for Tots collection. We will also be collecting for Toys for Tots, so please bring a new, unwrapped toy for a donation. As noted, the potluck starts at noon.

Dec. 19: Athol Golden Age Club

ATHOL — Monday, Dec. 19, at noon: The Athol Golden Age Club meets for its annual holiday gathering at the Athol Senior Center, 82 Freedom St. Our holiday meal will be catered by Dan Carr once again. The cost is $10 per individual. As noted, the meal starts at noon.
