WINCHENDON — Outdoor movie nights take place Thursdays in August, 8 p.m., on the lawn at Beals Memorial Library in Winchendon.

Aug. 30: Trail walk in Winchendon
The North Quabbin Trails Association has organized a walk Sunday, Aug. 30, at Winchendon Community Park to encourage people of color to use the trails and enjoy the area’s natural resources.
“I’ve always just assumed we welcomed people (of color), but I have to go beyond that in this case,” Bobby Curley, North Quabbin Trails Association president, said.
