Friday, May 14

10:04 p.m. – A breaking and entering incident in progress reported in the Exchange Street area resulted in an arrest.

10:35 p.m. – A possible larceny incident involving missing medication was reported in the Intervale Avenue area. Caller stated they had people over the prior day, and noticed their medication was missing.

10:58 p.m. – Noise complaint in Hamlet Street reported a group of kids lighting fireworks off in the road. Officer in the area was dispatched to investigate.

Saturday, May 15

4:24 p.m. – Third party caller from South Athol Road and Harvard Avenue area reported a motor vehicle accident. Appears to be no smoke, fire, no airbags deployed and no injuries. One vehicle towed.

4:47 p.m. – Multiple 911 calls about a brush fire in the Morton Road vicinity. Fire was extinguished.

7:25 p.m. – A dumpster fire at Fish Street was reported. AFD extinguished. Spoke with some tenants who thought cause might be a lit/stubbed out cigarette butt.

Sunday, May 16

7:48 a.m. – Heywood Hospital Nursing Supervisor requested welfare check on Hapgood Street resident. Contact made and passed along to requesting party.

10:18 a.m. – Patrol officer requested assistance for a tree limb that is hanging on wires in Templeton Road area. National Grid removed large tree limb over wires/roadway.

1:49 p.m. – Silver Lake Beach caller reported someone boating on Silver Lake. Boat was removed and parties advised of rules.

1:58 p.m. – Green Street caller reported that their cousin was threatening the lives of her and her children. Caller advised to contact the court to pursue possible restraining order/harassment order protection.
