12:21 p.m. — Welfare check, South Main Street. Spoke with party, contacted his psychologist and she is aware of the situation. She will attempt to make an appointment with him.

1:48 p.m. — Walk-in to station with a black leather wallet that was found on Exchange Street.

2:40 p.m. — Walk-in to station to report a threat, Lincoln Avenue. No threat made. Report will be made on the events that took place.

2:52 p.m. — Caller reporting that a missing teen out of Springfield in at an Athol address, Petersham Road.

3:36 p.m. — Caller states female with suitcase walked into condemned building, Cottage Street. Located subject on Cottage Street. walking toward Hapgood Street. She stated she had gone to the front door of Cottage Street. building to take a picture of the eviction notice. Officer spoke with reporting party and confirmed the same. She was sent on way and advised to stay off of the property.

4:03 p.m. — Walk-in. Picking up license to carry, Ward Street.

4:06 p.m. — Caller reporting suspicious person, Pequoig Avenue. Located juvenile who was advised of complaint and sent on way.

4:11 p.m. — Caller states motorcycle has been driving up and down road approximately six times at excessive speed, Chestnut Hill Avenue. Checked area, gone on arrival.

5:48 p.m. — Welfare check, School Street. Caller states female is out walking about in a short sleeved shirt with sneakers and fears she is lost. Caller states female is home with husband.

7:34 p.m. — Caller requesting police to assist with getting son from mother, Central Street. Officer spoke with reporting party who allowed officer to read over court ordered document regarding child custody. Paperwork did not state anything regarding mother having child during February vacation. Officer advised party to seek a contempt order from probate court the following day. Officer made contact with mother and child. Child appeared to be well and happy. Mother stated she wanted her son staying the weekend until she goes to court. Officer did not notice any signs of issues regarding the living situation and mother was advised to address her concerns at probate court.

7:56 p.m. — Caller states male in all dark clothing walking in roadway, South Main Street. Located male party on South Main Street. who appeared unsteady on his feet. Party stated he had been drinking and was walking to Main Street. Male party was transported to Main Street. residence and left in the company of friend.

11:59 p.m. — Party flagged down officer and reported a party in some type of distress, School Street and Main Street. Officer made contact with person who stated that she broke down in Orange and is walking to Phillipston. She stated that she was having difficulties with her knees at the moment. She refused medical assistance. A State Police unit was patrolling by and offered to transport her home to Phillipston.

Wednesday, Feb. 21

12:06 a.m. — Party requesting a check on her daughter because she received a call stating male party has anger problems and was punching a wall, Partridgeville Road. No answer at residence. Nothing unusual observed through windows. Spoke with neighbor who has been up watching TV, nothing heard from residence. Vehicle not in driveway. Called reporting party, she states that she heard there was an issue from a third party. Checked boyfriend’s parents’ house for motor vehicle, not there. Mother called back, she spoke with her daughter and she is fine.

12:53 a.m. — House checks, Lenox Street. No problems found.

3:54 a.m. — Disabled motor vehicle, Canal Street. and Main Street. Parties ran out of gas, someone on the way to help. Female party has an expired license. Female party’s son is driving the vehicle and has a valid license.

8:05 a.m. — Officers assisting State Police with a search warrant, Church Street. Corey J. Duncan, 45, of 29 Church St., was arrested on charges of distribute Class A drug; heroin, possess Class A drug and possess Class E drug; testosterone.

9:40 a.m. — Illegal dumping, Partridgeville Road. DPW advised.

9:52 a.m. — Suspicious vehicle, West Chestnut Street. Reporting party made contact with officer and was made aware of the situation.

10:43 a.m. — DCF requesting call history for past six months for involved parties.

11:27 a.m. — AFD calling to report they took a call of a male party in front of the YMCA with what appeared to be his hands down his pants. Party left on a MART bus prior to making contact with him.

11:33 a.m. — Walk-in. Firearms license issued.

12:07 p.m. — Anonymous party calling to report possible drug activity, Freedom Street. Negative contact with subject in question.

12:33 p.m. — Motor vehicle stop, Marble Street. Operator issued citation and towed for operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

12:44 p.m. — Caller reports some youths had been smashing glass bottles in the area behind his house, Chestnut Street. Party made contact with the youths and they were disrespectful toward him using vulgar language and wanted them spoken to. Officer spoke with both youths and one of their mothers.

1:04 p.m. — Officer transporting prisoner to Orange District Court.

2:20 p.m. — Motor vehicle accident, Crescent and Fish streets. A 1999 Nissan Quest owned and operated by Marion H. Forand, of 550 North Main St., Orange, struck the mirror of a parked 2007 Chrysler Pacifica owned by Joseph P. Guenette, of 8 Wellesley St., before hitting a pole. Both occupants of Forand’s vehicle were transported to Athol Hospital.

2:53 p.m. — Assistant Manager calling to report that they located some heroin in the men’s bathroom, Main Street. Would like some to come dispose of it.

2:54 p.m. — Party calling to report small motorbikes driving fast up and down Union Street. Party does not believe they are supposed to be riding them.

3:07 p.m. — Medical emergency, Main Street. 911 caller requesting an ambulance for difficulty breathing and a swollen tongue. Assisted AFD.

3:22 p.m. — AFD reporting that a female party is sitting by the railroad tracks next to Starretts, Main Street. Negative contact, party was gone on arrival.

3:47 p.m. — Caller reports dirt bike riding in roadway, Main and Exchange streets. Believed to be same mini bike from previous call. Officer gave owner printed rules/restrictions on such bikes and was advised he will be criminally charged if ridden again.

3:58 p.m. — Officer conducting follow-up investigation, Main Street.

4:13 p.m. — Walk-in. Renew license to carry, Exchange Street.

4:30 p.m. — Disturbance, Central Street. Caller states male standing outside banging on door and yelling to be let into building to gather his belongings even though caller states he does not reside there. Male party sent on way.

4:31 p.m. — Caller states she has been being followed by another female in a vehicle, Brookside Road. Mother states while at a park in Orange they saw another juvenile who they have had issues with in the past. This juvenile and adult she was with gave the reporting party and her child the middle finger. Reporting party left the park and was at Cumberland Farms when the adult and child again drove by giving her the finger. No words exchanged or any type of altercation. Advised to follow up with OPD School Resource Officer regarding this child as she has had bullying issues with her in the past.

4:55 p.m. — Caller complaining about vehicle blocking sidewalk and corner to exit street, Main and Mechanic streets. Owner advised of complaint and will move vehicle.

5:20 p.m. — Caller states vehicle all over road, Main Street.

5:31 p.m. — Caller states vehicle driving around closed gate into woods, Lincoln Avenue. Checked the inside of Silver Lake Park and surrounding streets, negative contact.

5:35 p.m. — Walk-in requesting officer for stolen wallet, Beacon Street. Unable to locate in park. Gathered information. Incident under investigation.

6:37 p.m. — Medical emergency, Pleasant Street. Good intent call.

6:44 p.m. — Caller states neighbor’s sons continue to shoot air soft pellets at his house, Western Avenue. No visible damage. Spoke to juvenile neighbors and parent. Advised to take activity elsewhere.

A 2007 Toyota Corolla struck a pedestrian as he was crossing the street. Amanda J. Chastney, of 137 High Knob Road., was issued a citation for failure to yield for pedestrian.

9:20 a.m. — Party calling to report a bag left behind with a bottle inside of it, Wilson Avenue. Reporting party stated bottle appeared to have a liquid inside that could have been blood and wanted it checked out. Officer found it to be a gallon container of melted rainbow sherbet.

Parting states her neighbor threatened to hit her with a shovel. Spoke with all parties. Advised to stay away from one another and harassment or no trespass order options.

3:36 p.m. — Party would like to speak with officer about emergency 209A, Palmer. Spoke with female party and advised her of her 209A options.

4:23 p.m. — Motor vehicle stop, Main Street. Operator issued citation for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.

4:25 p.m. — Fraud/scam, New Sherborn Road. Spoke with male party who was advised to not cash check and ignore any further mail.

4:38 p.m. — Motor vehicle stop, Pleasant Street. and Barrett Avenue. Warning for defective equipment (headlight).

4:43 p.m. — Female reporting party states female party crashed into the fence, Canal Street. Male reporting party states female had a seizure, male occupant dragged her back into the vehicle and they left from the scene taking a left onto South Street. In speaking with male reporting party, he states that the female party was walking and the male party was beeping his horn at her. Male party then struck female with car and she fell down, appearing to have a seizure. The vehicle is described as a sporty two door silver sedan.

4:51 p.m. — DCF requesting calls from the last six months involving two listed parties. Faxed to office.

4:58 p.m. — Caller states his tenant has threatened to burn the building down tonight, Grove Street. Spoke with office staff who stated that female party said, “It would be a shame if the building burned down.” No actual threat was made and the female party did not answer her apartment door.
