Thursday, Sept, 3

12:38 a.m. – Caller reporting a loose German Shepherd with tags, Sanders Street. Male party agreed to keep the dog overnight until ACO gets in.

4:37 a.m. — Officer removed large branch from the roadway, South Main Street.

7:33 a.m. — Caller reporting loose dog came after them, Anzio Road. ACO will be made aware.

10:44 a.m. — Funeral procession escort through the lights, Main and Exchange streets.

10:52 a.m. — Caller reporting property damage, New Sherborn Road. Would not give dispatch any information. Spoke with reporting party who states damage was done to his vehicle.

11:27 a.m. — Caller reporting that he had a package shipped to his sister’s address and someone stole it, Main Street. Officer spoke with reporting party regarding the package that had been taken.

11:41 a.m. — Walk-in reporting dog barking frantically in locked vehicle, New Athol Road. Vehicle gone on arrival.

1:58 p.m. — 911 call for an 88-year-old female party that fell outside on the sidewalk, Exchange Street. Party is conscious and alert. Assisted AFD. Transported to hospital.

3:48 p.m. — Larceny, Laurel Street. Male party calling to report his car was broken into last night and that his wallet is now missing.

3:49 p.m. — 911 caller requesting an ambulance for a 49-year-old who had a seizure, Sanders Street. Assisted FD. Patient refusal.

5:13 p.m. — Follow-up investigation, Wallingford Avenue. DCF is on scene.

5:20 p.m. — Welfare check, South Main Street. Caller reporting he has not been able to make contact with his brother since yesterday. Reporting party stated male party was admitted and discharged last night from Heywood Hospital. Per officer, units are going to make entry. Negative contact inside.

5:47 p.m. — Caller reporting loud chainsaws in the area, Allen Street. Officer advised.

6:08 p.m. — CO alarm activation, Conant Road. False alarm.

8:15 p.m. — 911 caller requesting a welfare check on a 79-year-old who is walking in the street, Harrington Street. Elderly female was located in the front lawn of a neighbor’s house. She started to talk about what was happening and how she had people at her house. There was no one inside when officers checked. FD was called due to her not making sense. Transported to Athol Hospital. Daughter was contacted and stated that the female has dementia and same is en route to the hospital.

8:29 p.m. — AFD is investigating an outside fire, Pleasant Street.
