Those meeting these qualifications who have a Massachusetts Driver’s License can submit their registration online at www.RegisterToVoteMA.com. Office hours on the last day to register to vote on March 15 in Athol are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Absentee ballots

Absentee ballots are also available in the Athol Town Clerk’s Office. Voters who are unable to vote at the polls on election day due to (1) absence from town during the hours the polls are open; (2) physical disability preventing you from going to the polling place; or (3) religious belief, may apply for an absentee ballot.

Absentee ballots must be requested in writing by either the voter or the voter’s family member. Absentee ballot applications may be downloaded at www.athol-ma.gov and are available at the Town Clerk’s office.
