9:09 a.m. - Manager calling about someone coming into the pharmacy and attempting to get a prescription (controlled medication) without proper ID - and one that was not his. Party was located on South Main andBrickyard. Spoke with parties involved, subject in question was trying to pick up father’s meds for him without a valid ID.

2:35 p.m. - Party calling about neighbors on Gibson Drive outside in a verbal argument.

All quiet on arrival. One male party spoke with officer and advised that other tenants are upset because he put cameras up. Cameras only pointed at parking lot and male parties own door. Male party states several cars have been keyed recently and he is protecting his property.

Sunday, Oct. 6

9:06 a.m. - Report of Halloween decorations blocking traffic at Lenox and Silver Lake Streets. Officer believes they are far enough back and there is visibility.

12:28 p.m. - Female calling from Main Street, they have a flat tire and have no idea how to change it. Officer assisted.

1:34 p.m. - Female located a firearm in the attic while cleaning. Item was a BB gun. Female requested that the officer destroy item, she is not comfortable with it in the house. Officer destroyed and disposed of the item.

Friday, Oct. 11

7:47 a.m. - Motor vehicle accident reported at West Chestnut Street and Fairview Avenue involving a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2011 Nissan Armada. Citation/warning issued.

Tuesday, Oct. 15

8:13 a.m. - Caller reporting a verbal altercation in the parking lot. Driver states that the other party was brake-checking him, driving up the hills and once he got to John’s Auto, stopped in the middle of the road blocking both lanes and flipping him off.

9:15 a.m. - Caller reporting a Facebook scam ad attempting to rent her house without knowledge or permission. States someone was trying to rent her house out to someone on Facebook Marketplace. Party showed up at the house and realized it was a scam.

11:53 p.m. - 911 call for a fight in the middle of Sanders Street. States it looks like it’s going to be a three-on-one fight. Group of three males, possibly late teens and a male party wearing all brown. Area was checked for the involved parties, but all were gone on arrival.

Thursday, Oct. 17

1:12 p.m. - Female party into lobby to report identity theft by someone in California. She was given a fraud packet and information will be documented.

2:02 p.m. - Party into the lobby with video of someone trying to break into his cars this morning. No one gained access to the vehicle.

Friday, Oct. 18

8:48 a.m. - Caller reporting the tracker on her stolen wallet has moved, not pinging at the corner of Warwick and Sanders Street. Checked the area, unable to locate.

2:17 p.m. - Caller from Cottage Street reporting her husband’s vehicle was broken into and some change was taken. Vehicle was unlocked, husband went to work today and did not know she was calling. Just wanted it documented in case someone else’s car was broken into. No cameras, no damage.

2:34 p.m.- Caller would like to speak to an officer about a neighbor who won’t stop texting him. Called the female party and told her to stop texting the reporting party. She stated she already had.

Monday, Oct. 21

8:35 a.m. - Caller from Pleasant Street, reporting her vehicle was broken into and wallet stolen.

8:42 a.m. - Caller from Craigin Street reporting items stolen out of her vehicle overnight.

1:23 p.m. - Caller reporting a tracker was put on his vehicle. Officer unable to locate on vehicle. Advised to call if any issues occurred further.

Tuesday, Oct. 22

9:52 a.m. - Party into station about an aggressive solicitor at his neighbor’s house. No one registered yesterday. Advised to call the station in future if there are issues.

10:54 a.m. - Female into station upset about a road rage issue where the party followed her. Other vehicle described as a gray Honda, male was scruffy. Spoke with party who wanted to stay in the lobby for a few minutes until she felt safe to drive.

Thursday, Oct. 24

7:08 a.m. - Caller from Gibson Driver requesting an officer to check the area near her home for a party in the woods.

10:32 a.m. - Party into station with a check that was sent to him. He was to advertise for Amazon and received a check for $3,850.10 – told to cash it and take out the $700 owed to him. Party did not cash the check, determined it was fraudulent. Officer destroyed the check.

12:10 p.m. - Person flagged down officer on Lake Ellis road for a turtle in the road. Officer moved the turtle off the road.
