Wednesday, December 7

3:42 p.m. – Riverbend Street caller reported two juveniles were breaking windows and then were walking down the street (description provided). Unable to locate.

Thursday, December 8

1:18 a.m. – Police assistance requested at Crescent Street with reporting party being threatened by a female party that she no longer wanted staying with her.

12:40 p.m. – Police took necessary action to assist staff from Pleasant Street with a student who had been disruptive to class and went in the hallway with a chair over her head, refusing to put it down. Staff were concerned it was scaring other students. Several minutes later she left the hallway and put the chair down. No emergency removal because parent was too far away.

Friday, December 9

9:18 a.m. – Call from Tower Road about a suspicious person. Managers stated a female had lost her vehicle in the parking lot and admitted to being on multiple drugs. Reporting party felt subject should not be driving (description provided). Gone on arrival.

1:16 p.m. – Freedom Street store manager reported two individuals (description provided) had left the store with a carriage full of items . Police escorted the two involved back to the store to return the stolen items. Both parties were trespassed from the store by the manager with officers present.

Sunday, December 11

4:13 p.m. – Caller from North Orange Road reported his landlord was trying to kick him out, and he believed it was not being done the correct way. Eviction process explained to the homeowner.

11:34 p.m. – Police mediated a disturbance situation at Beacon Street where a child was upset with his mother for having him do chores so late in the night. Police advised the mother to allow child to sleep and they talk about the issues that happened tonight the next day after school.

Tuesday, December 13

5:45 p.m. – Main Street caller reported that someone kept ringing the buzzer of his apartment building and wouldn’t leave (description provided). A second call was logged at 6:01 p.m. that the person was back and it sounded like the subject was trying to break into his apartment. Reporting party stated the person/subject kept banging on his door and ringing the buzzer. Male party was not welcome at friend’s apartment. Party was brought back to the station to keep warm due to him being homeless.

6:16 p.m. – Station lobby walk-in from Pitman Road area to report a stolen vehicle.

Wednesday, December 14

5:27 p.m. – Gardner PD reported they had a male party leave a firearm in an Enterprise rental car. The car was tracked down to an address Athol, and Gardner PD requested we check the vehicle. APD officers secured the firearm.

7:29 p.m. – Templeton Road caller reported that a male party had come to his house and threatened to kill him. Police spoke to the involved parties; it was a verbal altercation between family. All parties were separated and all given court options.

Thursday, December 15

2:20 p.m. – Three car motor vehicle accident on Main Street. No injuries, leaking fluids.

11:13 p.m. – Alarm company right entry motion notification from South Street. Building checked, no issues found. Police assisted key holder with alarm reset.

Friday, December 16

4:59 a.m. – Main Street caller reported threat by someone who had been trespassed. Officers checked the building, negative contact with subject.

9:08 a.m. – Exchange Street caller reported that it appeared someone may have broken into the building next to Steele Pub. Stated glass was broken and board is missing. Investigated and found to be old damage and nobody was inside the building.

Sunday, December 18

7:16 p.m. – Exchange Street bartender stated they asked a male party to leave the establishment, but he was still standing outside. They believe he may be on something. Described as a short male party, wearing a camo shirt and a hat. Gone on arrival.

8:10 p.m. – Caller from Main and Exchange Street area reported a male party wearing a camo shirt that was stumbling into traffic. Subject was located by police and given a courtesy ride home.

Monday, December 19

6:19 a.m. – Patrol officer at Lenox Street and Alfred Avenue observed a male party on the side of the road picking up change from a broken porcelain piggy bank. Subject explained it was his, and his girlfriend could vouch for him.

2:02 p.m. – Main Street caller reported a female party that was trespassing in his apartment and he wanted her removed. Subject was served a no trespass in hand order by the landlord and sent on her way.

5:08 p.m. – Police investigated a property damage report from Crescent Street.

Tuesday, December 20

11:19 p.m. – Arrest of Pleasant Street resident on multiple warrants.

12:12 p.m. – Police responded to a disturbance call from Spring Street. Verbal argument between father and son. Both went separate ways for a few hours to cool off.

2:20 p.m. – Call from Main Street of a student threatened of being shot by an unknown Instagram user. School notified student’s mother. Police spoke with student’s mother and investigated Instagram account and follow up on identifying party.
