Sunday, May 16

8:53 p.m. – Patrol officer reported green light at Main and Exchange Streets was still not working.

10:22 p.m. – Oak Avenue caller reported their son was causing a disturbance and they would like him removed from the property. Subject was gone on arrival.

Monday, May 17

9:41 a.m. – Vehicle struck and broke a utility pole at South Athol Road and Partridgeville Road. Operator was outside the vehicle walking around, but taken to hospital for evaluation. National Grid addressed the broken utility pole and Dales towed the vehicle.

11:26 a.m. – Anonymous caller from Main Street area reported a male party was causing issues at their work site. Subject was verbally trespassed from being on the store’s property, and the reporting party was advised to call with any future incidents.

4:01 p.m. – Officer assisted citizen at South Main Street to retrieve belongings (due to active 209A).

5:31 p.m. – Caller stated they found several credit cards on the side of Petersham Road. Patrol officers retrieved property and, with assistance from Gardener PD, attempted to contact owner.

Tuesday, May 18

7:30 a.m. – Main Street caller reported some of their construction equipment had been thrown into the brook behind the job site. Reporting party setting up trail cameras to catch further incidents on tape.

1:20 p.m. – Anonymous tip from South Athol Road of possible break-in of an abandoned house. Owner was notified and will check/re-secure all doors, and stated that no one had permission to be there or around the yard.

4:44 p.m. – Fire Department responded to a possible propane leak alarm at Wheeler Street. Apparent leak behind the building at Drury Avenue and will be investigated further. Amerigas and National Grid notified.

6:08 p.m. – 911 caller from Freedom Street area requested an ambulance for a female party who was on the ground, throwing up. Subject was transported to the hospital

8:08 p.m. – Patrol officer reported a deer had been struck by a vehicle in the South Main Street area. DPW removed the dead deer.

8:37 p.m. – Intervale Avenue caller reported two female and one male party were walking around their house. They all took off while reporting party was on the phone. Extra patrols requested.

Wednesday, May 19

4:16 p.m. – Lobby walk-in to turn in a phone that had been found at the Alan Rich Park.

4:19 p.m. – Silver Lake Beach area caller, after consulting with neighbors, reported finding dead small animals around that were believed to have been shot with a BB gun by a local juvenile. Mother was advised and surrendered BB gun to police as she no longer wanted it in the house.

7:19 p.m. – Caller from Chestnut and Cottage streets area reported loud verbal altercation. Involved parties were advised to quiet down and keep personal discussions indoors; not in the road.

8:15 p.m. – Adams Road caller requested assistance after husband had kicked her out of the house. Advised both parties to have an officer stand by while personal property was retrieved and to go through the court for anything further.

11:28 p.m. – Main Street caller reported two males fighting outside. Officers spoke with the involved parties, who were having a heated verbal argument, and advised them of the complaint.
