Saturday, June 12

12:33 a.m. – Caller reported their daughter hit a raised manhole cover at Silver Lake Street and Wilson Avenue and it sliced the tire flat. Reporting party wanted incident on record for insurance purposes.

3:01 a.m – Noise complaint from the Cummings Road area.

3:31 a.m. – Brookside Road store owner requested police assistance. Officer located subjects outside the store and they were sent on their way.

4:25 a.m. – New Sherborn Road caller reported an unknown female party was inside their vehicle, which was in their driveway, and honking the horn. This unknown person was transported to the police station by one of the homeowners. Police assisted with obtaining an ambulance for the 90-year-old who was disoriented and not feeling well. Family members were notified.

11 a.m. – Main Street caller reported a phone threat from neighbor. Police advised reporting party of Harassment Prevention Order (HARPO) options and spoke with the other involved party.

1:48 p.m. – Officer attempted to follow up on a requested welfare check on Lincoln Avenue, but was not able to make contact. Units to continue BOLO (Be on the lookout).

3:39 p.m. – Metropolitan Court caller reported an individual on property that landlord stated there was a no trespass order on said individual. Officer checked area but was unable to make contact.

4:13 – 4:16 p.m. — Two traffic stops for speeding on Pleasant Street.

4:22 p.m. – Officer assisted with 911 call for an ambulance for an unresponsive male, not breathing and CPR in progress. Subject was transported to the hospital.

5:34 p.m. – Caller from Market Drive area reported locking their keys in their car and was advised that tools to gain entry were no longer available at APD. Caller contacted AAA.

5:58 p.m. – Freedom Street caller reported what they thought was their neighbor yelling “help me” and “leave me alone.” Officer investigated and both involved parties confirmed the disagreement was only verbal in nature and no other issues.

7:29 p.m. – South Athol Road area caller reported they believed that the homeless person, who had previously been living behind their residence, was back. Officer checked but was unable to make contact.

7:31 p.m. – Market Drive area caller reported their daughter had an encounter with an older male individual in the 110 Grill parking lot. Subject allegedly told the juvenile to “be careful, or they may be snatched up” by someone like them. Officer spoke with both parent and juvenile and acquired additional information on the male party.

8:48 p.m. – Brattle Street area caller reported their spouse had been walking the dog and their path had been repeatedly blocked by two individuals asking for money. Officer was unable to locate.

8:19 p.m. – Community policing detail in Silver Lake Street beach area.

8:35 p.m. – Multiple complaints of fireworks being set off in the Cottage Street area.

11:41 – 11:55 p.m. Multiple business security checks Brookside Road to New Athol Road.
