Wednesday, July 15

12:26 a.m. — Multiple calls for physical fight in the street, Summer and Main streets. No parties outside upon arrival and the area was quiet.

12:33 a.m. — ER calling requesting officers for violent female party, Main Street. 911 call from involved female stating she wants to report her children missing and wants information on DCF being against her and held at hospital against her will. Female party spoke with CSO and admitted under a section 12.

1:35 a.m. — ER calling requesting officers for combative female threatening/pushing security guards, Main Street. Female party is currently on a section 12 and was admitted to the hospital. Female was refusing to give her belongings to staff. Female party was moved to a new room and had no issues with officers.

3:20 a.m. — 911 call regarding a voicemail she was just left about a female party that was involved in 21D and reporting party does not know this individual, Sanders Street. Officer attempting call back to check well-being.

7:52 a.m. — Caller reporting an erratic driver, Route 2. Reporting party stated he has reported it before. OPD advised to make contact with male party that resides in their town.

10:32 a.m. — Male party looking for a call back regarding his tenants, Orange Street. Landlord states he received a call from male party regarding circuit issues within their apartment. Landlord went out Sunday, July 12 and no one answered the door for him. Landlord had concerns as door was locked from the inside and he had not heard from anyone since Sunday. Officer advised he spoke with involved female party yesterday in person.

10:33 a.m. — Officer is checking the welfare of a citizen, Harrington Street. Spoke to the reporting party and mother, all is well.

11:00 a.m. — Male party requesting a welfare check on his 3-year-old daughter who resides in our town with her mother, Ridge Avenue. Reporting party was advised of negative contact.

11:32 a.m. —Caller would like to speak to an officer about getting a restraining order on her boyfriend, South Street. Completed 209A process with the reporting party.

12:09 p.m. — Female party calling to report her ex-boyfriend is harassing her, Exchange Street.

12:09 p.m. — Caller is reporting that he was being chased by an aggressive driver, Main Street.

12:11 p.m. — Gardner PD is requesting APD check a residence for a missing person that they are looking for, High Knob Road. Officer out at residence. Negative contact.

12:22 p.m. — 911 caller reporting that there is a man yelling at her through her front door, Pequoig Avenue. Spoke to reporting party, she states there are several issues that have been ongoing. Everything is civil in nature and will be dealt with through the landlord. Neighbors within the same building had a verbal argument over noise from a drum set.

1:15 p.m. — Caller is reporting that someone stole a large amount of money from him, Pleasant Street. Spoke to Bank Hometown and Athol Savings Bank. ASB has required a letterhead to pull ATM footage. Spoke to reporting party and let him know police are working to get the footage from ASB.

1:24 p.m. — Caller reporting her former brother-in-law is harassing her, North Orange Road. Spoke to reporting party about a no trespass order and to call the police if he attempts to make contact or show up at her house.

2:41 p.m. — Alarm company calling for a commercial burglar alarm, Pequoig Avenue. Accidental activation, no issues.

3:23 p.m. — Caller reporting two young girls on her porch, Laurel Street. Checked porch and observed no kids playing on it. Children were in adjacent driveway. Officer spoke with mother who stated her kids haven’t left the yard.

3:46 p.m. — Athol Hospital requesting an officer for a patient who is being aggressive, Main Street. Assisted medical staff with unruly section 12 patient.

4:27 p.m. — Caller reporting her neighbor is making accusations against her, Fairview Avenue. Officer spoke with reporting party and advised her of her court options.

7:04 p.m. — Male party in the lobby to report unemployment fraud, Ward Street. Officer spoke with reporting party who stated someone had attempted to file for unemployment under his name in Brookline. Party was given identity fraud packet and told to report incident to Brookline.

7:59 p.m. — Anonymous party looking to pass information on regarding illegal dumping, Exchange Street.

8:06 p.m. — Report of a motor vehicle accident, Tower Road. Van backed into parked car during car show.

8:14 p.m. — Caller reporting that there are children in her yard trying to take her kid’s scooter, Bryant Street. The youths that were on the yard thought it was their scooter and realized it wasn’t theirs once they got closer to seeing it.

8:47 p.m. — 911 call from a male party stating that another male is harassing him outside of Athol Spirits and is following him around, Tunnel Street. Harassing party fled as police were arriving.

9:24 p.m. — Male party requesting an officer at residence for a neighbor dispute, Pequoig Avenue. Reporting party states neighbor’s boyfriend threatened to assault him if the reporting party spoke with neighbor again.

9:56 p.m. — 911 call from suicide hotline stating they are texting with a female who states she is on a bridge in Athol and going to jump, Exchange Street. Female has been making these calls repeatedly. Officers checked all bridges in town as a precaution.

10:41 p.m. — Caller reporting there are four guys standing around a vehicle and have been there for a while, Brookside Road. Subjects were sitting in vehicle, no problems observed.
