Sunday, Jan. 31

10:06 p.m. — 911 caller is reporting another disturbance in the area, Liberty Street. Reporting party is stating that it is his brother-in-law and he is trying to start trouble. Reporting party left for the night to prevent any further harassment. Advised of court options.

Monday, Feb. 1

1:25 a.m. — Athol Hospital is calling to report a female party was bit in the hand by a dog while on a walk near her home, Lenox Street. Female party is being treated at the hospital and stated she does not want to get anyone in trouble. Hospital will be faxing over the animal bite form.

3:18 a.m. — Caller requesting we try and make contact with her grandson, who is homeless, Main Street. Reporting party stated she just spoke with him and is concerned with how cold it is outside. Reporting party stated he is currently walking down Main Street to the Veterans Park. Officer off with male party. He was transported to the Athol Police Station lobby to get in from the cold.

7:47 a.m. — Caller reporting that it is an ongoing issue that a male party is speeding down the road, Park Street. Today a female was backing out of her space and the vehicle went speeding by to pass her, almost causing an accident. Advised to call when issue is ongoing and police can respond.

8:27 a.m. — Caller would like to speak to an officer regarding her upstairs neighbor making noise throughout the night and running water while she is in the shower, Exchange Street. Advised of options.

10:09 a.m. — Officer transporting party to Royalston, Exchange Street.

11:24 a.m. — 911 call from nurse practitioner on scene reporting her client is not answering the door, Western Avenue. Confirmed female is in a nursing home in Greenfield.

12:18 p.m. — 911 caller requesting a lift assist for a 68-year-old who has fallen and can’t get up, South Main Street.

12:25 p.m. — 911 call for a male party that fell, Crescent Street. Officers assisted FD with patient care and extrication. Transported to hospital.

12:38 p.m. — 911 caller reporting his vehicle was stolen last night, Partridgeville Road. Contacted Dale’s, they have the vehicle and it was towed at the request of the Athol Housing Authority.

1:34 p.m. — Caller is reporting an intoxicated neighbor that is being loud and bothering her, Exchange Street. Parties spoken to.

1:44 p.m. — Caller reporting a beige Chevy Impala that has been broken down in the same place for the past few days, Pinedale Avenue. Reporting party feels this will be an issue for the snow plows. Vehicle is taking up half of the travel lane and creating a hazard. Immediate removal necessary. Jim’s is on scene.

4:51 p.m. — Party looking to speak to an officer regarding a trespass, Froman Street. Advised of court hours for trespass notice.

5:28 p.m. — 911 call for a 46-year-old male with fever and chills, Miller Street. Transported to hospital.

6:01 p.m. — Caller states lights coming out of the plaza won’t change and the crosswalk light keeps repeating as well, Templeton Road. No issues.

7:33 p.m. — FD responding for arcing wires under the sink, Spring Street.

9:10 p.m. — Caller states white SUV in the area, Main Street. Parked in the travel lane with flashers on. Believed to be unoccupied. Vehicle was on the side of the road while driveway was being cleared, no issues.

Tuesday, Feb. 2

12:03 a.m. — 911 call for an intoxicated male party that is refusing to leave, Silver Lake Street. Male party was gone on arrival.

12:30 a.m. — Officer is off with a stuck vehicle, Pleasant Street. Officer was able to assist with pushing the vehicle out of the high snow.

4:46 a.m. — 911 caller reporting she hears a male party screaming for his life, Crescent Street. Units are off speaking with male party.
