Sunday, Dec. 26 9:31 a.m. – Grove Street caller reported her dog runner was taken. Advised of Harassment Protection Order option through court.
9:59 a.m. – Lobby walk-in requested to speak to an officer regarding a past incident of mail tampering. Advised of Harassment Protection Order option through court.
12:34 p.m. – Fish Street caller was looking to file harassment charges regarding a previous domestic.
1:21 p.m. – Police responded to a disturbance call reported in the Fish Street area. Third floor tenant called about the second floor tenant chasing him and yelling at him.
Monday, Dec. 27 9:04 a.m. – Walk-in was served a Restraining Order. Served in hand. Party already had a copy of it and stated it was wrong and attempted to provide another copy. It was thrown to the ground. Threatened to assault his father. Report taken, charges filed.
10:42 a.m. – Harrington Street caller reported someone had broken into his vehicles on Dec. 21 and they had pictures of it. Information taken and report followed.
11:42 a.m. – Lobby walk-in from Beacon Street area reported damage to his motor vehicle.
1:27 p.m. – Daniel Shays Highway caller reported his vehicle was stolen and recovered in Springfield. But when he went through the vehicle he found a firearm.
1:30 p.m. – Lumber Street caller requested to speak to an officer about an ongoing property dispute with his neighbor. Advised of Harassment Protection Order option through court.
Tuesday, Dec. 28 3:48 p.m. – Sanders Street caller reported that her daughter’s wallet was stolen about 2 to 3 days ago from her vehicle. Reporting party stated they did not want to report items missing, just the theft.
4:16 p.m. – Chestnut Street caller reported that her car was broken into overnight. Reporting party believes that the car was locked. Items stolen: gym bag, lady’s watches, safety vest and some loose change.
5:03 p.m. – Crescent Street caller requested to speak to an officer in regards to a situation between two employees. Police Spoke with both of the involved parties and one was advised their rights to apply for a Harassment Protection Order. Other involved party was sectioned due to statements made at that time.
5:51 p.m. – Police responded to a welfare check request in the Ward Street area. Officers made contact and transported a cooperative male party to the hospital.
6:13 p.m. – Partridgeville Road caller reported a suspicious, possibly intoxicated person was staggering all over the roadway and provided a description. Gone on arrival by police.
10:56 p.m. – Lobby walk-in reported a suspicious person in the Main Street area. Reporting party stated that he was driving down from the hospital when he noticed that a female party, description provided, was standing in the middle of traffic “reaching for cars as they passed by.” Patrol officer was advised.
11:46 p.m. – Business/security checks Tower Road area. No Issues.
