Athol Police Log: Dec. 18, 2021

12:38 a.m. – Main Street caller requested assistance regarding being harassed over text messages. Caller had already spoken with Leominster PD and they advised to report to APD due to living in the town where receiving the threats. Leominster PD called to give their report for a criminal complaint and charges from other parties involved statements. Patrol officers went to make contact with subject. He would not answer the door nor answer his phone when the Dispatcher called him to advise him the officer was at the door.

5 p.m. – Main Street Cumberland Farms worker reported two male parties left the store with a soup and sandwich. Male parties had a dog with them. Parties were gone upon police arrival. Report filed.

8:46 p.m. – Grove Street caller stated that she had received threats indirectly on Facebook. Reporting party stated that there are threats made to vandalize her home, vehicle and assault her in some degree. Officer requested the reporting party to come to the station to initiate a statement form as other officers were already tied up on other calls. Police put out a BOLO alert and provide extra patrols in the Grove Street area for the remainder of the shift.

9:57 p.m. – Freedom Street caller requested assistance with his credit cards being stolen and reporting party provided a possible suspect name. Reporting party will be coming in to fill out statement and bring bank documents.
