Sunday, Aug. 15

8:18 p.m. – An emergency 209A (Restraining Order) was granted after a 911 call where caller stated ex was threatening them, and was refusing to let them pick up the children. Caller advised to come to the station.

10:15 p.m. – Athol Hospital requested a courtesy transport to have an intoxicated male brought home. No issues during transport

Monday, Aug. 16

1:19 p.m. – Report of a past accident in the Tower Road area. MART bus #866 hit the driveup ATM awning approximately 30 minutes ago. Provided his information and left. Manager reported small amount of paint scraped off the awning, and just wanted incident documented.

1:36 p.m. – Caller reported from Market Drive area that their vehicle had been struck at Starbucks and the other driver took off. Other vehicle was located by police outside the 110 Grill and report was filed.

Tuesday, Aug. 17

10:51 a.m. – AFD (Athol Fire Department) investigated a chemical smell coming from a building on Crescent Street. Water Department was working on sewer lines and adding chemicals that had been causing an odor.

12:28 p.m. – 911 call from Canal Street area that an adult in their 20s was not breathing. Narcan, rescue breaths and CPR performed until Fire Department arrived and subject could be transported to the hospital.

2:31 p.m. – 911 call from Franklin Community Health Center and later CSO (Clinical Support Options) for an in-person welfare check on a person in the Chestnut Street area. Subject was on the phone with Health Center Staff and stated they were locked in a trunk and being assaulted. Subject kept staff on the phone for over an hour.

Wednesday, Aug. 18

3:06 p.m. – Caller from Riverbend Street area requested police assistance to pick up property (209-A Restraining Order in effect). Officer spoke to both involved parties and agreed on a time.

4:25 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident at Partridgeville Road and South Athol Road. Report filed.

4:49 p.m. – Officer assisted Main Street caller with complaint that their neighbor would not leave them alone. Advised involved parties to stay aware from each other.

5:37 p.m. – Gage Road caller requested assistance with unknown person on porch, rang doorbell and walked around the house. Gone on arrival.

8:06 p.m. – Officer conducting follow up in the Vine Street area on an illegal dumping complaint. Advised party of ramifications if any further issues/complaints.
