Both teams are in the process of round-robin play to determine the top two seeds for the District 3 playoffs.

Jaxon Haggett bunted for a single in the top of the third but was left at third base. Haggett made a running catch in left field in the bottom of the fourth.
Quabbin’s Zeke Santoro led of the bottom of the fourth with a long single before Chouinard’s double put runners at second and third. Adam Adams got a run home when a grounder was misplayed to make the score 4-0. Holmes added an RBI sacrifice fly before Adams stole home to give Quabbin a 6-0 lead.
Chuck Stone’s Dakota Choquette singled in the fifth but could not get around to score. Evan Quigley stole a bag in the fifth for Chuck Stone.

A huge play defensively in center field helped Chuck Stone get out of the inning. A hard hit ball by Santoro had home run distance, but Chuck Stone center fielder Alex Lavigne tracked it down and reached into the greenery over the fence to keep the ball in the park for an out.
