Ann Frances Salkaus Natale

Ann Frances Salkaus Natale passed away on December 21, 2018 after battling a prolonged illness. Annie was the beloved wife of Dr. Francis “Frank” Natale, whom she married on July 29, 1995, and the devoted daughter of the late John and Frances (Shatos) Salkaus of Orange, MA. She is survived by her sister Rita Salkaus Thompson of Orange, MA, and her brother John Salkaus of Billerica, MA, stepson Mark and his wife, Michelle, Natale and granddaughter Ana of Derwood, MD, as well as several dear cousins, nephews, friends and her four-legged companion Hugo.

Born April 21, 1948 and raised in Orange, MA, Ann attended Mahar Regional High School, graduated Westfield State University and earned an M.A.Ed from Antioch College, Cambridge, MA. After teaching a year in Haiti, Ann spent the next 32 years teaching grades 7 and 8 Social Studies in the Wellesley Public Schools. For many years she volunteered at the annual blood drive in Stow and at Emerson Hospital in the Transport Department. Ann also enjoyed traveling with her husband and friends. She loved nature, walking along the beaches of Cape Cod, gardening, reading and get-togethers with family and friends.

Services will be held at a later date.
