Career Awareness Night Oct. 21

FITCHBURG — Monty Tech’s annual Career Awareness Night will be held Monday, Oct. 21 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the school. Seventh and eighth graders and their families are invited to attend the event and see firsthand what vocational-technical education is all about and how it prepares students for a successful future.

Visitors will be able to tour the school, and see students and teachers working on projects in all 21 career and technical programs offered. Information will be available about extra-curricular programs and sports. Administrators will be available to answer questions and help students make an informed decision about high-school placement.

Monty Tech is located at 1050 Westminster St., Route. 2A, at the Fitchburg-Westminster line.

The communities of Ashburnham, Ashby, Athol, Barre, Fitchburg, Gardner, Harvard, Holden, Hubbardston, Lunenburg, Petersham, Phillipston, Princeton, Royalston, Sterling, Templeton, Westminster and Winchendon comprise the Monty Tech School District.
