GARDNER — Narragansett Historical Society President and curator Brian Tanguay will give a narrated slide presentation on the six-year restoration of Templeton’s E. Howard tower clock, in the Gardner Museum, 28 Pearl St. at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 30. A reception will start at 6:30 p.m. On display will be a collection of time pieces in the current exhibit “What Time Is It?”

The tower clock was installed by the Boston Company in 1872 in the First Baptist Church, and is one of a very few in the U.S. which can be viewed by the public.
