Tuesday, Nov. 19

1-2 p.m. — Tech Help Tuesdays, at the Athol Public Library. Have a question about your phone, tablet, or apps, etc? Ask the experts. Free, open to the public. Walk-in, no registration required.

10-11:30 a.m — Playgroup, Athol Children’s Library. Caregivers and children, ages birth to 5 are welcome to meet in the Children’s Library to socialize and play.

5-6:30 p.m. — Athol Teen Advisory Group’s monthly meeting, in the large program room. Talk about books, help plan teen programs, learn new things and enjoy pizza. Open to students in grades 6-12. See Emily in the Teen Space for details or call 978-249-9515.

5-7 p.m. — Mild Knights Chess Club, on the porch at Athol Public Library. For ages 18 and older. Free and open to players of all skills. Younger players may join the Wild Knights Chess Club on Thursday afternoons.

6 p.m. — Finding Hope Support Group for adult women who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Meets 1st & 3rd Tuesdays at Athol Congregational Church, 1225 Chestnut St., Athol. Contact: Jenna Sujdak 774-286-0561 or soprano193@yahoo.com.

6:30-7:30 p.m. — Google Drive Computer Class at the New Salem Library. Eli MacCullagh will instruct on how to use Google Drive, including file sharing and Google Docs. Call the library to register, 978-544-6334.

7 p.m. — Leominster Art Association meeting, 583 Main St., North Leominster. Featured presenter is Pam Short (pastels). All are welcome; $5 guest fee for non-members.

7 p.m. — Central Mass. Genealogical Society, Inc., monthly meeting at the American Legion Post 129, 22 Elm St., Gardner (upper hall). The guest speaker will be Sara Campbell will talk about “Are Your Ancestors on Facebook?” and explore social media for genealogy. Membership is $15 for an individual, $20 for a couple, per year. Wednesday, Nov. 20

10:15-11 a.m. — Preschool story time, Athol Public Library.

2-4 p.m. — Knit Wits, weekly drop-in meeting at Athol Public Library. Knit, crochet, needlework, other projects. Materials provided or bring your own. Info: 978-249-9515.

3:30-5 p.m. — Magazine Silhouettes, Athol Public Library in the Teen Space. Learn how to make dynamic and colorful silhouettes out of recycled magazines and paper. Open to grades 6-12.

5 p.m. — Anniversary celebration of the Listening Wellness Center, to be held at Hartman’s Herb Farm in Barre. Open to the public. Info: 978-355-3501.

6:30 p.m. — Free screening of “Under Pressure” at the Athol Public Library, 568 Main St., original film by Western Massachusetts high school students describes and analyzes the September 2018 Merrimack Valley gas explosions that severely affected three Eastern Massachusetts communities. Free, all are welcome, but the library requires advance registration at 978-249-9515.
