ATHOL — It’s time to get crafty! Join Emily Boughton and Robin Brzozowski this November at the Athol Public Library to make Mini Photo Albums at their next Creative Crafting for Adults Workshop. Using card stock they will demonstrate how to fold a one page book to keep and share favorite photos. They will provide step-by-step instructions and all the materials needed to create and decorate the albums – except the photographs.

Thinking of signing up? It’s time to gather pictures for these special mini albums. The class will be making two different size books. One that holds pictures up to 2 1/2 inches x 4 inches. The other holds pictures up to 2 inches x 2 1/2 inches. It is suggested that attendees print or copy pictures onto regular “copy” paper so they are easy to cut and glue. The public copier at the library makes high quality color copies for 10 cents per sheet. It can also reduce the images to just the right size. Keep in mind that the pictures will be cut and glued. Making copies is an easy way to ensure that the originals are not damaged.

The classes are an opportunity for crafters of all levels to relax, have fun and try something new. The workshop requires a degree of comfort with cutting, folding and gluing.

Choose to attend on either Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 6:30 p.m. or on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 10:30 a.m. Generously funded by the Friends of the Athol Library, the classes are free and open to the public.

Registration is required and space is limited. Interested adults are encouraged to sign up by calling 978-249-9515 or stopping by the library at 568 Main St.
