10 a.m. -2 p.m. — Holly Fair, at the Community Church of North Orange and Tully. Sponsored by the North Orange Dorcas Society. Visit with Santa 11-12:30 p.m., lunch from 10-1 p.m. Handmade crafts, center table raffle, quilt raffle.

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Holiday Fair, at the Warwick Community School, features up to 40 vendors, hot soup and chili. Info: 978-544-2630.

Noon - 1 p.m. — Free ukulele workshops at the Moore-Leland Library, 182 Athol Rd., Orange. Also on Dec 7. There are 18 ukuleles available, or bring your own. Supported by a grant from the Orange Cultural Council. For all ages.

7-10:30 p.m. — Monadnock Tri-State Dance Club dance, Ellen Lambert Murphy Memorial Community Center, 21 Durkee St., Winchester, NH. With live music by Playin’ Possum. All are welcome; $8 members, $10 non-members. Refreshments will be served. Info: 978-249-6917, 802-722-9205, 603-876-4469.

Sunday, Dec. 1

2-4:30 p.m. — The Narragansett Historical Society presents: A Colonial Christmas at 1 Boynton Road, on The Common in Templeton. There will be visits with Santa, caroling, self guided museum tours. The grand finale is the annual Tree Lighting at 4:15 p.m. Admission is free. The museum will be decorated for the holidays. Take photos with Santa. The event will be held regardless of the weather. Monday, Dec. 2

10:30-11:30 a.m. — Baby and Me Storytime: For children up to 36 months old, Wheeler Memorial Library, 49 East Main St, Orange. Songs, rhymes, bounces and a board book. Includes 45 minutes of informal playtime. Older and younger siblings are welcome. Free. Info: 978-544-2495.

7 p.m. — Quabbin Valley Pro Musica rehearsal, Central Congregational Church, 24 South Main St., New Salem. Open to those interested in joining a four-part (soprano, alto, tenor and bass) chorus, under the direction of Geoffrey Hudson. For more information, contact Harry Haldt at 978-249-4691.
