Thursday, Nov. 7

7:02 a.m. — Officer with an unwanted person at the high school, Main Street. Stood by at the school.

7:21 a.m. — Report of part of a roof flapping over the side of the building, Allen Street. Building inspector notified.

10:12 a.m. — Officer with building inspector, School Street. Report of open window. Secured.

10:52 a.m. — Subject into station for Sex Offender Registry registration, Everett Avenue.

12:05 p.m. — Officer out with a party requesting ambulance for mental health evaluation, Main Street.

1:10 p.m. — Officer observed a makeshift shelter in the woods behind cemetery. On inspection, it was determined it was no longer active, Fielding Way.

2:17 p.m. — Caller reporting operator of a gray Mazda that looks like he was dozing off before driving away, Main Street. Negative contact.

2:18 p.m. — Complaint of a house at the end of Froman Street with multiple junk cars in their yard. Officer will follow-up with property owner.

2:31 p.m. — Officer attempting to recover property, Mountainview Road. Officer recovered property from a high school student, to be returned to another high school student.

3:16 p.m. — Wallingford Avenue. Party looking for call back in regard to a stolen vintage lighter. Negative contact.

3:27 p.m. — Report of children throwing plastic bottles, Silver Lake Park. Unable to locate.

3:37 p.m. — Caller reporting suspicious people in his backyard and looking for a call back, Jones Street. Subject believes there are people tenting on railroad property and wanted officers to be aware.

3:53 p.m. — Officer spoke to party regarding an illegal dumping incident, Adams Road.

4:42 p.m. — Motor vehicle accident, South Athol Road at Carpenter Road. A 2019 Subaru Forester operated by Kimberly E. Legrand, of Flat Rock Road, Athol, struck a deer.

4:43 p.m. — Missing person, Fish Street. Caller claims her 10-year-old daughter took the late bus home today and never came home. Five minutes later mother reported child had returned.

5:17 p.m. — Subject to lobby looking for an officer’s assistance in retrieving property, Moore Hill Road.

5:27 p.m. — Motor vehicle crash, Main Street, involving a vehicle operated by Clarence Joseph Blanchard of Intervale Avenue, Athol. Officer requesting an ambulance. No injuries, minor collision.

5:31 p.m. — Officer assisted party with retrieving her property, Moore Hill Road, due to restraining order in place.

5:36 p.m. — Medical emergency, main Street. Officer requesting ambulance for party struck by a vehicle.

5:36 p.m. — Ward Street party completed Sex Offender Registry Board’s required registration.

7:20 p.m. — Assisted citizen, Silver Lake Street. Transported party to Canal Street.

7:53 p.m. — Party calling about a vehicle that is continuing to park on the sidewalk, Park Street. Car was moved; no issues.

9:51 p.m. — Officer out checking a Hapgood Street residence for a party for Warwick Police. Negative contact.

10:01 p.m. — Officer out with suspicious vehicle, Exchange Street. Belongs to property owner, no issues.

10:29 p.m. — Disturbance, Elizabeth Street. Caller looking for officer in regard to a light being left on in the hallway. Advised of court options.

10:31 p.m. — Caller stating his landlord is shutting the light off in the stairway while he is walking upstairs, Elizabeth Street.

10:39 p.m. — Caller requesting officer in regard to a possible break-in, Main Street. Party was home and heard what she thought was her doorknob rattle and her exterior door to slam. No one observed; advised that extra patrol would be conducted.

Friday, Nov. 8

12:40 a.m — Officer requesting fire department for fire alarm going off, Concord Street. No smoke or fire.

4:36 a.m. — 911 caller reporting loud/strange sound coming from area of caller’s residence, Main Street. Party called back to state she went outside to listen again and it was her neighbors windshield wipers, who have since left.

Wednesday, Nov. 6 (Missing shift from Thursday’s report.)

7:23 a.m. — Officer conducting follow-up investigation; detective made contact with parent again to check status of daughter.

7:30 a.m. — Welfare check, Silver Lake Street. Caller reporting an older child walking down the street with no jacket on.

8:48 a.m. — Threat, Elizabeth Street. Harassment and threats from tenants who have been served an eviction notice.Party states boyfriend gave her tenants a 30-day notice to quit a few days ago and there has been ongoing harassment. States the tenants were fighting and were asked to quiet down and they both turned on her. Tenant has changed the locks on his room and refuses to give her a key. The caller has given a 24-hour notice to enter the room to have a broken window repaired and he has denied her access. She was advised to seek advice on eviction and to apply for a Harassment Prevention Order at Orange District Court.

10:58 a.m. — Party requesting to speak to officer in regard to a possible squatter on his land. Officers out at Shore Drive address. Building inspector on scene who notified board of health.

12:09 p.m. — Caller asked to meet with officer regarding a past assault. Officer spoke with subject, formerly of Moore Hill Road who wants an incident documented with Athol Police, which occurred last month.

12:17 p.m. — Party to speak with officer about a car he bought in Athol that is turning out to be a lemon. Caller wants to know if the party has a Class 2 dealership license.

1:37 p.m. — Report of fox in yard, possible mange, but appears OK, Pinedale Avenue. Gone on arrival.
