Thursday, May 2

12:30 a.m. — School Street caller states she let an intoxicated male into her apartment and now wants him to leave. He refused to and went into the hall and broke a plant stand which she has to pay for and also awakened the neighbor, who is mad. Upon arrival the male was gone and no property damage. Caller advised to seek a No Trespass order.

1:06 a.m. — Officer observed party sitting on the ground, Main Street. Subject said his feet hurt from walking so he was taking a break. Moved along and made it home for the night.

2:38 a.m. — Athol Hospital emergency room requested officer assistance to bring male party to Orange town line. Transported male subject home without incident.

4:38 a.m. — Report of intoxicated male  sleeping in the roadway, Beacon and Taylor streets. Located and transported home and left with sober party.

9:17 a.m. — South Main Street; female requesting officer due to roommate disconnecting an extension cord that is providing heat from the neighbor for her infant child. Officers spoke with parties involved. Advised of possible ramifications if the power or access to power is not restored.

10:52 a.m. — Male party states female vandalized his vehicle with paint, Main Street. Under investigation; charges pending.

12:32 p.m. — Fire alarm, Main Street at Athol High School. Officer reporting school mayu have boiler issue.

2:46 p.m. — South Main Street, found rear passenger window broken. Officer spoke with reporting party and will follow up at location for any video that may exist.

2:51 p.m. — Medical emergency, Main Street; unresponsive female in vehicle. Subject transported to Athol Hospital; mother took custody of vehicle.

1:12 p.m. — Party in lobby to update vehicle on Sex Offender Registry, Sanders Street.

4:16 p.m. — Fraud/scam, Petersham Road. Party gave out Social Security number to caller. Was advised to call Social Security officer before any fraudulent activities could take place.

4:33 p.m. — Reservoir Drive; party reports subject almost ran her off the road in front of State Police barracks. Vehicle towed for  revocation of insurance. Dale’s dispatched.

4:57 p.m. — Report of cars parked at end of West Chestnut Street, leaving trash behind.

5:24 p.m. — Minor motor vehicle accident, Highland Street, involving vehicles operated by Ryan James Hebert, Highland Street, Athol, and Amber N. Ruch, Spring Street, Athol. Damage under $1,000; parties exchanged information.

6:40 p.m. — Fire alarm, Main Street. Smoke alarm in apartment reported to be from cooking.

7:50 p.m. — Assisted citizen, Main Street. Attempting to locate a motor vehicle that calling party “lent” to her nephew and did not return. Advised caller to report to local police department and officers would be on the lookout for the vehicle and will notify when found. Unable to locate vehicle after several attempts at three addresses.

Friday, May 3

12:47 a.m. — Intoxicated male party in lobby requesting a ride to CVS. Transported to his residence.

5:12 a.m. — Report of suspicious person, Cottage Street. Caller reporting suspicious male party hiding in an elder female’s bushes outside her home. Officer spoke with the homeowner who confirmed he had been walking near the bushes outside his windows.

7:05 a.m. — Main Street; party acting suspicious, talking to himself and punched the door to the restaurant and took off; long brown hair, wearing a blue Cape Cod sweatshirt and carrying a bathrobe. Officer off with male at Country Convenience. Subject located and identified on South Main Street. Subject paid for his meal and did not cause any damage to the store.
