ATHOL — The current art exhibit at the Athol Public Library features the photographs of Nancy Lagimoniere. Her works will be on display in the Conference Room throughout the month of September.

Lagimoniere was born and raised in Athol, graduating from Athol High School in 1970.  She and her husband of 48 years, Bryan Lagimoniere, own and operate the Athol Martial Arts Academy in town. Photography is a major hobby and the outside world, nature in many forms, and Silver Lake and other beautiful spaces in the area are favorite subjects.

Lagimoniere will host a reception on Tuesday, Sept. 10, in the Conference Room from 4 to 8 p.m. She will be available to answer questions about her photography, her subjects and locations. The public is invited to stop in to admire and enjoy these beautiful photos, taken right in our own neighborhoods. The library is located at 568 Main St.
