Monday, Oct. 21

10:30 - 11:30 a.m. — Baby and Me Storytime: For children up to 36 months old. Songs, rhymes, bounces and a board book. Includes 45 minutes of informal playtime. Older and younger siblings are always welcome. Programs are free. Wheeler Memorial Library, 49 East Main St, Orange, 978-544-2495.

5:30-7:30 p.m. — Career Awareness Night, at Montachusett Regional Technical School, 1050 Westminster St., Route 2A, at the Fitchburg-Westminster line.

6-8 p.m. — King James Pop-Up Library: The Wheeler Memorial Library brings the library to you! Join them in the King James Court Community Room, 383 East River St, Orange to see the pop-up library filled with both regular and large print books. Library card applications will be available. 7:30 p.m. — “Event Horizon” is the next in the monthly series of science fiction/fantasy horror/monster movies at the Wendell Free Library. Admission is free.

Tuesday, Oct. 22

10:30 - 11:15 a.m. — Rise and Romp Storytime: For children ages 2 to 5 years old. Read stories, sing songs, learn rhymes, dance, and make an easy craft.  Older and younger siblings are always welcome. All library programs are free. Wheeler Memorial Library, 49 East Main St, Orange, 978-544-2495.

1-2 p.m. — Tech Help Tuesdays, at the Athol Public Library. Have a question about your phone, tablet, or apps, etc? Ask the experts. Free, and open to the public. Walk-in, no registration required. 

6-8 p.m. — Tuesday Tales Book Club Non-Fiction: Discussing “Underland: A Deep Time Journey” by Robert Macfarlane at the Wheeler Memorial Library, 49 East Main St, Orange. 978-544-2495.

Wednesday, Oct. 23

3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. — Lego Club: For kids ages 5 to 12. Adults may build with their children. Wheeler Memorial Library, 49 East Main St,, Orange, 978-544-2495.

4 p.m. — Captain Underpants party at the Athol Public Library, to celebrated the beloved children’s books. Games, snacks. Free and open to children kindergarten age through grade 5. Registration necessary by calling 978-249-9515.

5:30 p.m. — “The Twilight Zone” Athol-Orange Area Rotary Club’s annual dinner and auction, at Athol Memorial Hall, 584 Main St., Athol. $40 per person, $300/table. Tickets available at AOTV, Kimball cooke, Kessler Investments and Workers Credit Union.

6 p.m. — Beals Library, 50 Pleasant St., in Winchendon to host “A Night of Divination.” Participants will spend an hour with an expert exploring Tarot card interpretation with special guest Genevieve Hackett. Sign up required at 978-297-0300.
