Monday, Oct. 7

10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. — Baby and Me Storytime: For children up to 36 months old. Songs, rhymes, bounces and a board book. Includes 45 minutes of informal playtime. Tuesday, Oct. 8

8 a.m. — Accessible birding with Joe Superchi. Join Joe for this casual look at fall migrating birds. Great for all physical and birding abilities. Meet at the entrance to the Athol Sewage Treatment Plant off the end of South Street, Athol.

10:30 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. — Rise and Romp Storytime: For children ages 2 to 5 years old. Read stories, sing songs, learn rhymes, dance, and make an easy craft. 6:30-7:45 p.m. — “Ghostology 201: The Darker Side of the Paranormal” program at the Athol Public Library. Registration required, 978-249-9515. Program intended only for ages 18 and older.

Wednesday, Oct. 9

9-11 a.m. — Public flu clinic, sponsored by Walgreens Pharmacy and the Athol Council on Aging, at the Athol Senior Center, for persons age 50 and older. Pre-registration is required by calling COA at 978-249-8986. Bring all health cards to the clinic. 

3:30-4:30 p.m — Lego Club: For kids ages 5 to 12. Adults may build with their children. Wheeler Memorial Library, 49 East Main St,, Orange, 978-544-2495.

6:30-8 p.m. — Spirit Communication, with Jeff Belanger, at the Woods Memorial Library, Barre. Free and open to the public. From the Fox sisters in the earliest days of the Spiritualist movement, to devices such as the Ouija Board and dowsing rods. Explore the history, see devices and hear evidence.
