Monday, April 1

7-8:30 p.m. — ALANON, meets each Monday in the Briggs Conference room at Athol Hospital.

Tuesday, April 2

10:30-11:15 a.m. — Rise and Romp Storytime: For children ages 2 to 5 years old. We'll read stories, sing songs, learn rhymes, dance, and make an easy craft.  Older and younger siblings are always welcome at our storytimes! All library programs are FREE. Wheeler Memorial Library, 49 East Main St, Orange. 978-544-2495

Wednesday, April 3

4:30 p.m. — Cancer Support Group, facilitated by Yvette Kondrotas. in the Briggs Conference Room, Athol Hospital. Call (978) 249-1207 for more details. In the case of inclement weather, call the Switchboard at (978) 249-3511 for updates on cancellations. If cancelled, it will be rescheduled to meet on the second Wednesday of the month.  Meets the first Wednesday of each month at 4:30 p.m.

5 p.m. — Sharing Our Father’s Bread, community dinner will be served weekly at the St. Francis Church hall, 105 Main St., Athol. The meals are open to the public. Four teams share responsibility for preparing the meals sponsored by The North Quabbin Catholic Community of Our Lady Immaculate, St. Peter’s and St. Francis churches. Meals are NOT served if school is cancelled. 

7 p.m. — Rehearsals begin for the Orange Community Band for the spring concert, at the Orange Armory, 135 East Main Street. Info, or to be listed as patrons in the Pops program, contact Maureen Riendeau at 978-413-6867.

Thursday, April 4

1:30 p.m. — Dan Kirouac performs at the Orange Senior Center (The Armory), 135 East Main St., Orange. The concert is sponsored by the Orange Cultural Council and is free to members of the senior center community. Some of the nation’s best-loved songs of the 1950s, 1960s, and early 1970s will be revisited and re-interpreted by the simplicity of one acoustic guitar and one vocal. 5:30-6:30 p.m. — Take Off Pounds Sensibly (TOPS) weekly meeting at Athol Hospital, 2033 Main St., Athol.
