Orange Police Log: June 15

Saturday, June 15

6:44 a.m. — Report of vehicle parked towards the back all night, South Cemetery. Unknown if someone is with the vehicle or not. Plate number given by Highway Superintendent. Units responded and found vehicle in rear blocking access gate to industrial park. Inside were two parties. Motor vehicle unregistered as owner had illegally put plates on thinking N.H. had transfer law like Mass. On call wrecker requested and vehicle removed. Two parties left on foot.

7:30 a.m. — Party states it appears someone signed for and stole a TV that was supposed to be delivered to her house, Pleasant Street. She would like to file a report.

8:21 a.m. — Private investigator will be in the area today, Fairman Road and Mattawa Circle.

10:55 a.m. — Party states office door was found open but no one was around, South Main Street. Claims there were two vehicles parked nearby. Confirmed that they had some workers there who have an upcoming service and he will check with them.

10:59 a.m. — Caller wants to have an officer speak to him regarding the complaint he filed about a past breaking and entering. Party believes the subjects came back again yesterday. He bought camera to set up but would like extra patrols. Would also like officer to swing back as he may have other items for printing.

2:12 p.m. — Needle found, East River Street. Caller stood by until hazard was removed.

2:49 p.m. — Party asking if an officer can call her significant other at their house and ask him not to call the police when she comes home, Dexter Street. When asked why he would do this, she stated she is afraid he will make something up to get her in trouble. Explained that if something happens and the police are called, there will be an investigation. She also asked for a ride to the residence. Advised that cannot be provided. She stated that there is no court order saying she cannot be there and she has been living there for the last week without issue.

5:13 p.m. — Traffic stop for operating with expired registration, Daniel Shays Highway. Citation issued, plates seized and vehicle towed by Dick’s Auto.

5:39 p.m. — Officer located an intoxicated subject walking, Wendell Depot Road. Transported to father’s residence. Father stated he will take care of him.

6:19 p.m. — Disturbance, Pleasant Street. Spoke to all parties involved, female and her boyfriend left for the evening.

7:25 p.m. — Party advises he put a deposit down on a rototiller and now the person will not give him the rototiller or his money back, Daniel Shays Highway. Party was advised an officer will give him a call.

11:48 p.m. — Caller reporting a mid-size SUV with the lights on parked on the shoulder with an arm sticking out of the window, Route 2. Vehicle located in Erving and will be continuing on.
