ATHOL — The Athol Royalston Middle School will host its annual multi-cultural festival on Thursday, June 6 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

According to ARMS student Melany Eldridge, “There will be many fun activities, including the chorus singing in several languages, dance lessons, a room-sized map of Massachusetts from National Geographic (with an optional trivia competition), international food, face painting, a SnapBooth for pics in clothing from around the world, and students from Mahar High School showing their work on the Rohingya refugees.“

The school will be packed with displays and presentations on heritage, multicultural topics and global issues by ARMS students.

There is no admission, thanks to support from the Athol Royalston Education Foundation and the Athol Cultural Council. Eldridge encourages the public to attend. “Please come join us to have some fun!”
