WINCHENDON — Members of the monthly book club, hosted by the Beals Memorial Library, has selected the book “Ordinary Grace” by William Kent Krueger, for their upcoming December meeting. The book is a historical mystery/coming-of-age story about the fateful summer that changed a young boy’s life, as narrated by his adult self.

The club is open to new members. Held at 1 p.m. on the second Friday of every month, the Beals Book Club is a discussion group that allows readers to exchange ideas, observations, and reactions to the plots, characters, and themes of selected books. The next Beals Book Club meeting will be held on Friday, Dec.13. All books are provided by the library.

Call the library at 978-297-0300 for more information.
