Action needed on cellphone driving ban

Passage of the law banning hand-held cell phone usage while driving has gone nowhere. The safety of drivers, passengers and pedestrians throughout the state would be immensely increased if this law was passed. I have called Governor Charlie Baker (twice), (House) Speaker Robert Deleo, and Senator Anne Gobi requesting their leadership and pressure to get something happening.

Their response has been SILENCE.

Instead, our state government is occupied by whether we should criminalize the word for a female dog! This is ridiculous. You can bet your booty that If there was legislation pending to increase the wages of state legislators it wouldn’t be ignored like the cell phone ban has!

Is it any wonder why people have little to no confidence in our state government?
