Orange Police Log: March 13

7:53 a.m. — Officer flagged down by patron at Honey Farms, Daniel Shays Highway who said their dog just locked the car doors while it was running. Entry made.

9:10 a.m. — Illegal dumping, Main Street. Caller reports he saw a female in a red Toyota parked on the wrong side of the road near Town Farm Road and observed she had left a bag of trash behind. He took the plate number. Area checked, gone on arrival.

10:45 a.m. — Officer wanted, Dexter Street. While serving a 209A, administration asked if an officer could speak with an out of control student. Services rendered.12:20 p.m. — 911 call, Ward Street, Athol. Referred to Athol police.

12:22 p.m. — Officer wanted, King Street. Paperwork reporting party needed to be signed by a New Hampshire officer. Advised that a Massachusetts officer could not sign this.

12:46 p.m. — Medical emergency, Red Brook Lane.

2:50 p.m. — Postmaster requesting to see an officer, South Main Street regarding misdirected package. Advised him it would be after shift change.

2:50 p.m. — Medical emergency, Old Winchester Road, Warwick

3:55 p.m. — Motor vehicle complaint, Tully Road. Caller said he was leaving his driveway and an older maroon Ford Explorer passed his house going approximately 60-80 mph and the speed limit is 35. Vehicle is headed towards Warwick. Warwick police department is unavailable. Officer patrolled area, vehicle not located.

4:13 p.m. — Animal complaint, Mechanic Street. Caller reports a child in their care was nipped at by a dog yesterday on the second floor, Mechanic Street. Child was bitten on the tip of her finger, skin not broken, no medical attention needed. Not the dog’s owner and wanted it reported per protocol. Log entry forwarded to Animal Control.

8:21 p.m. — Medical emergency, Jones Cemetery Road.

10:07 p.m. — Welfare check, Burrill Avenue. Received request for a well being check on female. Contact made, denied need for services. Advised to call if anything changed.

11:08 p.m. — Warrant served on Packard Road; arrested Ralph C. Cloukey, 42, Packard Road, on two warrants issued by Attleboro District Court; non bailable for violation of pretrial conditions. Transported to Franklin County House of Correction.
