Saturday, Nov. 312:24 a.m. — East River Street caller reports unwanted person in apartment and has a court order in place he cannot be within 20 feet of her.. Officer spoke to caller and explained updated order that states he is allowed to be in his apartment as long as he does not violate order. No violation at this time.
12:27 a.m. — East River Street party advises subject came in and had a couple drinks, then went back to her residence and was struck her in the head and came back crying. Female left and caller cannot find her. Officer located at her house.Spoken to about domestic violence laws and restraining order options. She declined wanting to leave for the night.
7:50 a.m. — Report of large amount of water flowing into Holtshire Road. Drainage situation in area of recent logging. Runoff down mountain into culvert.
9:10 a.m. — Report of shots fired, Pleasant and Fountain streets. Subjects shooting what appeares to be BB guns at ducks on the pond. Area checked, negative contact.
9:22 a.m. — Report of online harassmant; party posting derogatory remarks on business’s Facebook page, New Athol Road. Advised of options, as well as criminal charges.
9:27 a.m. — Vehicle stopped on Congress Street for expired inspection sticker.
10;20 a.m. — Party reports at some point yesterday while parked in Walmart lot, something hit the rear of his car; two small scuff marks found on bumper from shopping cart.
12:03 p.m. — Vehicle stopped for expired registration, New Athol Road. Roadside renewal done.
12:15 p.m. — Request for escort to Ball Street. Time set.
12:43 p.m. — Alarm sounding, Prentiss Street. Found door unlocked. Building checked, al in order. Unable to get keyholder.
1:05 p.m. — Report of tree on wires, smoking, Stone Valley Road. National Grid responded and removed tree from wires.
1:40 p.m. — Officer removed tree branch in road, Walnut Hill Road.
1:43 p.m. — Wires, tree down in area of Town Farm Road. National Grid advised.
1:50 p.m. — National Grid reports they had a tree cut up and part of it is over the edge of the road, Athol Road. Road is passable. Highway Superintendent notified.
1:53 p.m. — Report of tree on wires, East River Street. Orange Fire Dept. advised. REquested tree crew from National Grid for pole #60.
2:45 p.m. — East River Street party to station reporting subject has his car and she won’t bring it back. Has had it for a number of weeks.Advised it is a civil matter and to seek assistance from an attorney. Also advised he could cancel the plates.
3:11 p.m. — Fraud. Bartlett Lane party received a call regarding his imminent arrest from the IRS or U.S. Treasury. Same given actual treasury number.
5:12 p.m. — Traffic stop, East Main Street for defective equipment (headlight). Verbal warning.
5:24 p.m. — Report of tree on wires, road completely blocked, Royalston Road. National Grid advised, fire department already on scene.
5:59 p.m. — Open door, Governor Dukakis Drive. Building checked, all appeared secure.
