Amelia J. Holstrom, Esq., of Wilbraham, MA, daughter of James and Nancy Holston of Orange, was selected to the 2018 Massachusetts Rising Stars list. It is an exclusive list, recognizing no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state.

Holstrom, an attorney at Skoler, Abbott & Presser, P.C. in Springfield, defends employers and management against claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful termination, as well as claims brought under other state and federal employment laws, including wage and hour law, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act. Holstrom was selected by BusinessWest as a 40 Under Forty recipient in 2015, received the Massachusetts Bar Association Community Service Award for Hampden County in 2016, and was named as an Up and Coming Lawyer honoree by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly in 2017 at its Excellence in the Law Event.  Holstrom serves as Member on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts; a Member of the Board for Clinical and Support Options, Inc.; and an ad hoc Member of the Personnel Committee for the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts. She resides in Wilbraham with her husband Stephen and children, Carter and Reid.
