Saturday, Dec. 1

8 a.m. 2 p.m. — Christmas Bazaar, St. John’s Episcopal Church, 15 Park Ave., Athol. Snack bar, raffles, wreaths, crafts, cookies, Santa, Christmas room, door prizes. Canadian pork pies, (pre-order) 978-575-1260.

9 a.m. to 2 p.m. — St. Francis of Assisi Church, Christmas Fair and bake sale, 101 Main St., Athol. Holiday and themed baskets, auction, Christmas items. Lunch of Lithuanian food served at 11; beef stew and hot dogs for the kids. Take out available by calling 978-249-3638.

9 a.m to 2 p.m. — Christmas Bazaar at the Orange Historical Society, 41 North Main St., Orange. Major fundraiser to keep the Society operating. Chance table offers 100 quality prizes from area businesses and individuals.

9 a.m to noon — Bottle and Can Drive, to benefit the Athol High School After Prom Party. Drop off returnable cans and bottles at the site of the former Lyman Ward School, across from Mr. Mike’s, uptown Athol.

9 a.m. - 2 p.m. — Mahar Holiday Bazaar at Mahar High School, Orange, presented by the Parents for Mahar Students Group. Info pfmsgroup@yahoo.com or 978-894-3397.

9 a.m. - 3 p.m. —  St. Martin's Church Holiday Fair, at the American Legion Hall, 3 Central St., Baldwinville. Theme baskets, crafts.Also, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 2.

9 a.m. to 4 p.m. — 16th annual Petersham Holiday Art & Fine Craft Sale, Petersham Town Hall on the Common. Santa will visit from 10-noon. Live music by Myra and Bill MacLeod.

4:30 p.m. — Memory Tree lighting ceremony, on the Phillipston Common. After the singing of a Christmas carol, participants move inside the church for the annual Alphonse Chartier Sr. Public Service Award ceremony, with Senator Anne Gobi and Rep. Monday, December 3

10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m — Baby and Me Storytime: For children birth to 36 months old. Join us for songs, rhymes, bounces & a board book. Includes 45 minutes of informal playtime.Older and younger siblings are always welcome at our storytimes! All library programs are free.
