The U.S. Postal Service will issue a forever first class rate stamp on Jan. 17 to note the Chinese Year of the Boar. The self-adhesive stamp will be issued in panes of 12, and depict purple peach blossoms, and a small drawing of a boar.

Houston, TX will be the first day city of this issue, which is part of a long-running stamp series for the Chinese New Year.

There will be a small coin show on Jan. 20 in Hinsdale, NH, at the Millstream Community Center on Routes 63 and 119. Hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with free off-street parking and admission.

The U.S. Mint will begin taking orders for the 2019 National Park quarters proof set on Jan. 17. This will consist of a proof version of all five of this year's quarters (including the Mass. one) struck at the San Francisco mint.

To order coins from the mint, visit their website at www.usmint.gov, or call them at 1-900-USA-MINT.
