TEMPLETON — The Narragansett Historical Society invites you to attend the annual Tree lighting and Parade on Sunday, Dec. 2 from 2 to 4:30 p.m. The building at 1 Boynton Road will be open to the public one last time before it closes for the winter season.

Join Santa and the Narragansett Regional High School Marching Band for a parade at 4 p.m., followed by the annual tree lighting at 4:30 on The Common, right in front of 1 Boynton Road. During the Open house, there will be a bake sale hosted inside, and the building will be open for self-guided tours.

Come see John Boynton's Tin Wagon, newly relocated from its former resting spot at 9 Hubbardston Road, and sing carols with the Band as the holiday season is welcomed in this wonderful way.

The building will reopen in May 2019 for the summer season. Follow us on Facebook for winter updates and events. Got Questions? email Brian Tanguay at
