Thursday, Jan. 104:17 a.m. — Burglar alarm, garage entry, Sunset Avenue. Homeowner said son accidentally set off the alarm when he came home.
5:38 p.m. — Vehicle stopped, Pleasant Street. Warning issued for speeding.
6:11 a.m. — Grove Street, E-911 caller reporting that the town is messing with the minds of epileptics. Also making statements inconsistent and non-related to the conversation. A family member requested welfare check on the party. Officer made contact with mother; no other assistance needed.
6:29 a.m. — Winter parking ban violation issued, Main Street.
6:37 a.m. — Vehicle stopped, Main Street at Crescent St. Warning issued for stop sign violation.
8:48 a.m. — Report of vehicle broken down near double bridges on Chestnut Hill Avenue and is going to affect traffic. Tire broke off from tie rod. Officer stood by for tow.
10 a.m. — Report of a general fire alarm, Riverbend Street.
11:28 a.m. — Officer advised the school is requesting he do a welfare check, Kelton Street.
11:52 a.m. — Laurel Street caller reporting tool box stolen. While obtaining information for a previously reported larceny, officer located female party with three warrants. Party taken into custody.
12:07 p.m. — Report of suspicious vehicle, Partridgeville and South Athol roads. Light blue mini van parked in the sand pits.
12:38 p.m. — 911 call reporting CO activation, Sanders Street.
1:55 p.m. — Craigin Street party requested info on obtaining restraining order.
2:11 p.m. — Report of people yelling and screaming, Walnut Street.
2:12 p.m. — 911 caller reporting smoke in building, Silver Lake Street. Assisted fire department.
3:20 p.m. — Suspicious person, Cottage Street. Caller reporting two white females walking down a driveway at a house that no one is home. When the caller saw them, they started walking back up the driveway. Due to vague descriptions and locations, officers unable to check for specifics. Officers checked area and saw nothing suspicious.
3:44 p.m. — Brickyard Road caller would like to speak to officer regarding text messages her son received from a 13-year-old girl from New York. Officer spoke with mother who states son has been receiving messages from female. Unknown location and unknown exact name of child. States the messages are concerning but also appear too adult for their age. Advised woman to email her screenshots of the messages and officers will look into them.
4:05 p.m. — State Police sent a unit to assist at a disturbance call on Grove Street; caller reporting female outside business causing a disturbance to people entering. Spoken with; she will be turning down the music and no longer yelling outside.
4:07 p.m. — Brattle Street party requesting to speak with an officer regarding problems with their landlord.
5:43 p.m. — Chestnut Street; 911 caller reporting road rage incident. Stated two males got out and started hitting her vehicle. Officer spoke with operator. She was traveling down Main Street by CVS when the vehicle in front of her stopped. They got out of their vehicle and started banging on her window yelling at her to turn her high beams off. She attempted to tell them they were not on. kShe didn’t think it was going to stop so she drove away. They got in their vehicle and followed her. She called 911 and was advised to drive here. When she turned on to Exchange Street they continued on South Street toward School Street. Only description a silver vehicle with round symbol. Area checked, unable to locate. Officer followed calling party home.
6:50 p.m. — Ambulance to Cottage Street for 2-year-old having seizure.
9:10 p.m. — Assisted citizen, Main Street. Caller stated he had a minor trying to get people to buy him alcohol and gave someone his debit card to make the purchase. Store owner now has the debit card and would like to speak to an officer. Minor was not at this location. Ongoing issues with coming into the store and picking out items for someone else to purchase. Advised to get a trespass.
Thursday, Jan. 10
9:38 p.m. — Ambulance to Main Street for female party.
9:47 p.m. — Main Street caller stated the minor from earlier call who was trying to buy alcohol is now calling the store and threatening the owner of the store. Officer at store; subject states he was not threatening anyone. He was advised he was not allowed back into the store for any reason.
10:57 p.m. — General fire alarm activation, Crescent Street.
11:33 p.m. — Assisted citizen, Anna Avenue and Lenox Street. Caller reporting they have found an elderly man outside who seems disoriented. Contact made with subject who stated he stepped outside for a few minutes and got disoriented. Officers got him back into his house and called his caretaker, who will respond.
