Orange Police: Feb 11

Monday, Feb. 11

8:06 a.m. — Motor vehicle violation. Caller reports a school bus was heading south on Chestnut Hill Road and did not come to a complete stop at the 4-way intersection. The bus did slow and look all ways, then took a right. Caller also notified the bus company.

11:26 a.m. — Unwanted person, West Main Street. Landlord/tenant issue. Board of health has been involved. Landlord was supposed to fix an upstairs bedroom floor. Officer spoke with parties and issue resolved. Caller also provided with Harassment Prevention Order options going forward if the situation continues.

5:43 p.m. — Missing person reported. Mechanic Street caller advises her 15-year-old foster child left the residence at 3 p.m. without permission. Officer checked address where child may be, negative contact, but officer informed that the child may be at her boyfriend’s house on Walnut Hill. Child located there and was provided a courtesy transport. All parties advised to be civil and find a resolution.
