Thursday, Feb. 14

6 a.m. — Brent Covington, 31, was arrested at his apartment on Prospect Street, Orange, on charges of distribution of a Class B drug. A second party was arrested at a Prospect Street address at 5 p.m., Tiffany K. Cacciolfi, age 20, of Prospect Street, also on charges of possession to distribute a Class B drug. Both were arraigned in Orange District Court Friday and released for a pretrial conference, date to be determined.

7:13 a.m. — Two calls reporting kids pelting ice balls at delivery truck, East Main Street. Occurred at a bus stop. Officer followed bus to Mahar and requested administrative representative meet them out front. Vehicle operator reports there was no damage. School administrator will handle the matter.

9:11 a.m. — Accidental alarm activation (cat), East River Street. No emergency.

11:18 a.m. — Dale’s requested to two vehicle disabled in bad spot, East Main street.

11:20 a.m. — Postal carrier reporting sidewalks not cleared on West Main Street from center to Ball St.

11:30 a.m. — Report of theft of items from business, East River Street. Owner provided partial list.

2:04 p.m. — Running vehicle lockout, Daniel Shays Hwy. Entry gained.

2:22 p.m. — Party refusing to leave with his father, West River Street. Officer  provided options.

3:34 p.m. — Warning issued to driver for failure to yield for emergency vehicle, East River Street.

5:16 p.m. — Report of erratic operator who pulled into Walmart, East Main Street.

5:55 p.m. — Male reporting erratic operation of vehicle, crossing double solid yellow lines, “blew through red light” at the intersection of North and South main streets, fish tailed and almost hit a pedestrian in a crosswalk. Caller claimed he stopped at the library to use the phone to call in complaint and staff there refused to let him use the phone. No other calls received on this incident.

9:47 p.m. — Missing person, Prentiss Street. 17-year-old daughter went on a date and was to be home at 7 p.m.; does not answer her phone. Also reported daughter’s defiance to house rules, which is an ongoing issue. Advised of the Children REquiring Assistance program through the court.

10:19 p.m. — Report of possible chimney fire, North Main Street at three-story wood frame multi-family home. Flames showing from the chimney. Under control at 11:16 p.m.

11:25 p.m. — Party advises they are repossessing a vehicle at a Daniel Shays Highway location. Reports female subject has locked herself in the vehicle and is refusing to come out. Officer spoke to female who eventually left the vehicle so it could be taken away.

Friday, Feb. 15

6:42 a.m. — Missing person, Prentiss Street. Party to station to report her daughter missing. Information entered into LEAPS/NCIN system. Cellphone ping located in Boxborough.
