Thursday: North Quabbin Garden Club

ATHOL — On Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021, at 7 p.m. at the Millers River Environmental Center in Athol, Beth Jaillet of Macmannis Florist will guide attendees in making a lovely Thanksgiving centerpiece. She is masterful in her ability to make a beautiful piece and help us each do the same. There is a $10 fee for materials.

Nov. 20: Monadnock/Tristate Dance Club

WINCHESTER, N.H. — The Monadnock/Tristate Dance Club will hold a dance on Saturday, Nov. 20, from 7 to 10:30 p.m., at the ELMM Community Center, 21 Durkee St., Winchester, N.H.

Live music by “Craig Kendall and The Flat Top Band.”

Refreshments served; 50/50 Raffle. Everyone welcome: $10, members; $12, nonmembers.

Nov. 27: Warwick Holiday Fair

WARWICK — Warwick Holiday Fair is set for Saturday, Nov. 27, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Warwick Community School, 41 Winchester Road.

Over 25 local artisans and vendors featuring jewelry, turned wooden bowls, knitted and quilted items, Quabbin photos and books, handmade soaps and lotions, kids' items, handmade Christmas cards, Bake Sale, and much more. A $400 gift card raffle and silent auction table round out the fun. Proceeds benefit Trinitarian Congregational Church of Warwick. Masks required. All vendors vaccinated.

Nov. 30: Giving Tuesday event for Mount Grace Trust

PHILLIPSTON — The Mount Grace Land conservation Trust will celebrate Giving Tuesday on Nov. 30 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Red Apple Farm in Phillipston with a special presentation by a trio of local wildlife experts Steve DeStefano, Dr. Todd Fuller and Dalel Monette. Dec. 4-5: St. Martin’s Holiday Fair

BALDWINVILLE — St. Martin’s Church in Otter River will hold its annual Holiday Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5, at the American Legion Hall, 3 Central St., Baldwinville.

Dozens of theme baskets and a wide array of hand-crafted decorations will be among the highlights, along with a major prize raffle, Chinese auction and fresh Christmas wreaths and greens decorated to order. The Fair’s “Polish Auction” will offer more than 30 beautifully-wrapped gift baskets that are sure to delight all ages, and a variety of homemade baked goods will brighten your holiday table. Lunch will be available both days as well as coffee and pastry throughout the day.

Dec. 8: Members Night for ABNC

ATHOL — Athol Bird and Nature Club President Dave Small invites all members and friends to Members Night: Wednesday Dec. 8, from 7 to 9 p.m. (Virtual on Zoom or in person at Millers River Environmental Center.)

Small says, “Come one and all! No matter where you are you can participate in this year’s virtual members’ night.

“In the past we’ve had submissions from Minnesota, Tropical birding, and local favorites. Send us up to 15 images from some of your favorite adventures to share.”
