Sunday, July 8

1:39 a.m. — Assisted State Police, Main Street, who requested backup for suspicious person they have stopped.

1:49 a.m. — Follow-up investigation; officer filed protective order.

2:13 a.m. — E-911 caller reporting a white or tan-colored sedan just hit a parked car and then took off; School Street. Owner requesting C&D for the tow.

3:37 a.m. — House check, Drury Avenue. All secure.

3:42 a.m. — House check, Old Keene Road. All secure.

3:56 a.m. — House check, Washington Avenue. All secure.

4:03 a.m. — House check, New Sherborn Road. All secure.

4:08 a.m. — House check, Pleasant Street. All secure.

4:47 a.m. — DCF to station to request police assistance for an emergency welfare check, Taylor Street. Assisted.

6:51 a.m. — Prisoner released.

9:38 a.m. — Report of harassment, Fairview Avenue. Party in lobby inquired about a stay-away order. Officer advised party to obtain a no-trespass order and have it served by a constable.

10:32 a.m. — Party in lobby saw on Facebook someone found her boyfriend’s phone and she would like assistance making contact with her, Brickyard Road.

11:27 a.m. — Phone threat; party reports he does not live in town but his local police department told him to call Athol; his father is sending threatening messages. Officer enroute to speak with party; no contact.

12:13 p.m. — Party reports neighbor’s dog got loose and scratched her car, Glen Street. Officer observed scratches on passenger’s side front door of black jeep. Party stated it was a boxer from down the street. Owners stated child opened their door and the dog took off and got loose. They were advised of the leash law, and that the incident would be forwarded to the Animal Control Officer.

1:03 p.m. — Motor vehicle complaint, Tower Road; Caller reports his motorcycle won’t start. Prior to officer’s arrival, party got jump start from someone.

1:49 a.m. — Dinsmore Street 911 caller reporting he believes he heard his neighbor yelling for help; all doors are locked at this time and no one is coming to the door. Officers made contact with male party who stated all was well.

3:10 p.m. — Party reporting a near hit-and-run accident. States people in the car were harassing him and tried to hit him, West Chestnut Street. Caller states he has been harassed by the people in the vehicle for some time. Advised to seek harassment protective order.

3:33 p.m. — Medical emergency, 911 caller reporting her father passed out and is alert at this time, Goodale Street. Nurse on scene taking care of him.

3:58 p.m. — Party reporting a lost dog in his backyard looks to be a brown lab, Hapgood Street. Returned to owner.

4:08 p.m. — Report of vehicle operating erratically, Silver Lake Park. Officer spoke with operator and there were no signs of impairment. Advised to change his driving habits.

4:22 p.m. — Walk-in reports missing person, Glendale Avenue. Officer out in attempt to locate male party. Father called officer; no welfare check needed anymore.

4:39 p.m. — Lifeguard reporting there are people swimming outside of the allowed area and they won’t come back in, Silver Lake beach. Parties gone on arrival.

4:52 p.m. — Walnut Street breaking and entering; Party reporting Saturday at 3 a.m. someone opened her door and then shut it. Party left before officer got to station.

5:39 p.m. — Motor vehicle complaint, Green Street. Party reporting someone on a dirt bike riding on her property and on the road.

8:18 p.m. — Caller requesting a phone call from officer regarding an incident that happened earlier; Cottage Street. A suspicious vehicle seen out of the party’s house. Would like documented.

9:24 p.m. — Hapgood Street caller reporting a subject who has been banned from the club has showed up and refusing to leave. State Police contacted for backup. Party sent on way.

9:48 p.m. — Old Keene Road caller reports a car full of people hanging out at the end of the road. Vehicle gone on arrival.

11:06 p.m. — South Street caller reporting she is receiving threatening text messages from her father. Athol, Orange officers on scene.

11:33 p.m. — Motor vehicle complaint, Ridge Avenue. Caller reporting possible drunk driver. Negative contact with the vehicle.

Monday, July 9

1:39 a.m. — Suspicious person, Main street. Caller reporting an unknown male subject keeps trying to get into his truck. Officer transported individual to Athol Hospital.

2:02 a.m. — Assisted other agency. State Police request Athol Be On the Lookout (BOLO) for an erratic operator, Templeton Road. SP advises vehicle has just taken Exit 20 but they will advise if the vehicle gets back on the highway. Later advised they stopped vehicle in Templeton. APD can cancel BOLO.

2:16 a.m. — Shelburne Control requesting a Mutual Aid ambulance to assist Orange Fire with an overdose, Winter Street. Orange Fire reports they now have enough manpower. AFD assisted OFD.

2:20 a.m. — Officer checking residence, Batchelder Road. All secure.

2:33 a.m. — Officer checking residence, Washington Avenue. All secure.

5:27 a.m. — Motor vehicle crash, Main Street. A motor vehicle operated by Terrance Gray, 242 Brattle St., Athol, crashed into with a parked motor vehicle owned by Sean Meagher of Gardner on Main Street. Gray stated he took his eyes off the road for a second and drifted to the right and collided with the driver’s side of the parked vehicle. Damage more than $1,000. Citation issued to Gray for failure to stay in right lane.

7:10 a.m. — Morton Meadows caller reporting his friend needs an ambulance because he is having difficulty breathing. Officer assisted Athol Fire Department and Woods Ambulance with patient transport.

8:13 a.m. — Brattle Street party reports someone went into his car and stole his wallet. Information on stolen items obtained, report to be completed.

8:26 a.m. — Follow-up investigation, Concort Street. Officer attempted to obtain property for prisoner.

8:52 a.m. — Transported prisoner to court.

8:55 a.m. — 911 misdial, Bearsden Road. Caller told dispatch it was accidentally dialed. Confirmed.

9 a.m. — Marble Street male party completed annual sex offender registry without incident.

9:27 a.m. — Follow-up on animal complaint, J Street.

9:37 a.m. — 911 caller reporting there is a dog in a cage in the vehicle crying and parties driving away, Tower Road. Unable to locate party. ACO to follow-up.

10:19 a.m. — Follow-up investigation, Glen Street; animal control.

10:23 a.m. — Main Street caller reporting her boyfriend’s car was damaged last night; the top was ripped and passenger window taken out.

10:55 a.m. — South Street, assisted citizen. Caller would like to speak with officer regarding her father.

11:27 a.m. — License to Carry renewal, Conant Road party.

11:39 a.m. — Department of Children and Families requesting public records, Main Street.

11:50 a.m — Larceny, Concord Street. Party reports last night someone stole the Xbox and cord.

11:54 a.m. — Party in lobby reporting someone broke into his house over the weekend, Common Street.

12:11 p.m. — DCF requests public records for past six months, Tremont Street.

12:23 p.m. — Party reporting there is a whole basketball stand and net next to the road and she had a hard time seeing it, Swanzey and Sanders streets.

12:25 p.m. — Party in lobby works at Cumberland Farms has video of two people she wants trespassed, Main Street. Advised of process to obtain trespass notice.

12:43 p.m. — DCF requesting public records since April, Marble Street.

12:51 p.m. — DCF requesting public records past six months, Beacon Street.

12:59 p.m. — Suspicious person, Pequoig Avenue. Party reporting male party that is not supposed to be there and has been taking property from the house. Upon arrival male party is up the street and caller pointed him out. Officer made contact with party, who had two bicycles with him. Male stated he thought at this point the property was considered abandoned and he could take it. He was advised that is not the case and to return property, which he did without incident.

1:32 p.m. — Animal complaint, Main Street. Party calling in a dog in a vehicle.

3:38 p.m. — Investigated report of larceny, Crescent Street.

3:44 p.m. — License found near Tool Town Pizza turned in.

4:03 p.m. — Welfare check; party called about her brother who has been missing since Friday. She states he was found, with barely any clothes on and is asking for police to do a welfare check, but does not know exact location. Several attempts were made to call the mother. Officers made contact in parking lot and are bringing male party inside.

5:17 p.m. — Larceny reported, Tower Road. Caller states his iPad was stolen out of his car while he was at work. He has a locator on it so he knows where it is pinging.

5:26 p.m. — Assisted citizen; caller states he needs a ride home from the Emergency Room. Courtesy transport.

6:57 p.m. — 911, animal complaint, New Athol Road. Party reports there were three dogs in a car with window slightly down; there longer than 10 to 15 minutes. As caller was giving information, owner came out.

7 p.m. — Silver Lake Street caller states she is getting phone calls from two numbers and doesn’t know why. She is scared and would like to speak to an officer. Advised female to shut her phone off for the night and to contact her phone company to block the numbers.

7:10 p.m. — High Street caller states he has markers on his property and the neighbor is mowing them over.

7:15 p.m. — 911-property damage, Benton Place. Caller states sometime between Saturday and today someone shot pellet-like bullets through the window. Took report for damage to window.

7:53 p.m. — Assisted citizen, Sanders Street.

8:39 p.m. — Caller believes he received a scam call and would like to speak to officer about it, Daniel Shays Highway.

8:49 p.m. — High Street caller requested to speak to officer who just responded to her house.

9:24 p.m. — Suspicious vehicle, Silver Lake. Both vehicles sent on way.

9:39 p.m. — 911 call reporting intoxicated person, Taylor and Prospect streets. Caller reports male party is going crazy. Called state police to respond.

10:34 p.m. — Harassment, Concord Street caller asked to speak with officer regarding neighbor downstairs.

11:24 p.m. — Brattle Street caller states he thought his wallet was lost, but now realizes it was stolen and would like to speak to an officer. Information gathered.
