September 11th remembrance ceremony at Athol Fire Station

ATHOL — The Athol Fire Department will hold Sept. 11th Remembrance services at Athol Fire Station 2. The program, open to the public, is as follows:

— 9:45 a.m. Fire Chief Joseph P. Guarnera and Police Chief Craig Lundgren will give the welcome.

— 10 a.m.  Assemble in front of the fire apparatus and cruisers with a moment of silence.

The bell will be rung 5-5-5-5 (4 sets of 5 bells each)l.

— Lower flag to half-mast (police)

— one minute of complete silence

— Prayer by Chaplain Parson

— Firefighter Prayer by Chief Guarnera 

— Policeman’s Prayer by Chief Lundgren

 — Ring Bell 5-5-5-5 (4 sets of 5 bells each)

— Raise flag to full mast (Police).
