Holly Fair at North Orange church Nov. 28

ORANGE — The Community Church of North Orange and Tully will hold its annual Holly Fair on Saturday, Nov. 28, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The main floor of the church is handicap accessible and will feature a cookie walk, homemade candy, a gift card raffle and a food table. Christmas wreaths will be sold outside in front of the Creamery Hill Road entrance to the church. The food table will be selling coffee, corn chowder, baked potatoes and hot dogs.

Upstairs, children will be especially delighted to meet Santa who will arrive with bells jingling at 11 a.m. and stay until 12:30 p.m. Bring your own camera for pictures.

A major feature in recent years is the center table coffee can raffle. Tickets are $2 for a sheet of 20 tickets and there will be many prizes to be won. Another raffle will be for a handmade tied quilt made by Ruth Shaw and put together by the Dorcas ladies. It is a single bed quilt in multiple colors. Tickets are $2 each or three for $5.

Especially for children there will be a pop-a-win game in which a balloon is purchased for $1 with that person getting a number in the balloon which is matched up with a prize, so everyone wins a prize.

Items that can be purchased include Christmas decorations, partridge berry bowls, and handmade items at the handicraft table.

The church is located at 48 Main St. in North Orange at the corner of Creamery Hill Road.
