Thomas M. Conlin
LEOMINSTER — Thomas “Tommy” Michael Conlin, 74, died Friday, Nov. 3, 2017, at the Keystone Center in Leominster.
Tommy was born on May 22, 1943, in Fitchburg, a son of the late William L. and Dorothy (Withington) Conlin Sr. He served aboard the USS Independence. Tommy worked in the family rubbish disposal business and with his brother Bill in his businesses as a bartender. He had been employed at P&S Pallet Co. in Hubbardston, JBM in Templeton and lastly at the Mobil Gas Station in Athol.
Tommy leaves his son, Thomas “Tom” Jr.; grandsons, Patrick, Brendan, and Sean; his close friend, Verna Marie; his brother, William L. Conlin Jr.; and his many nieces and nephews.
Tommy could be counted on for his quick wit comebacks and a joke; he also enjoyed cooking meals for the ones he cared for.
Tommy’s favorite past times were Western movies, and he was a huge fan of WWE Wrestling Entertainment, all the New England sports teams and any race horse that won his best liked color “the green” for him.
Funeral services are on Friday, Nov. 17, at 3 p.m., at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen St., Winchendon.
