Michael J. Camden
ATHOL — Michael J. Camden, 53, of Brookside Road, died unexpectedly April 15, 2017, at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Healthcare campus, in Worcester, from injuries sustained from a fall.
Born in Gardner on Jan. 24, 1964, he was a son of the late Eugene Sr. and Evelyn (Haley) Camden and grew up in Athol.
Michael was a hard working man and had worked at John’s Sandblasting in Athol and he had also worked at the Rodney Hunt Company in Orange.
He was previously married to Annie (Balben).
Well loved by all who knew him, he was an especially good uncle to his nieces and nephew. He enjoyed four wheeling on quads, parties and cook outs, camping and the swimming pool.
Michael was a member of the Franco-American Club in Athol.
Michael is survived by his sons, Michael W. Camden and Christopher Camden, both of Athol; his former wife and mother of their children, Annie Camden of East Templeton; a brother, Joseph Camden and his wife, Carolyn, of Hampshire County; five nieces; one nephew; two grandnieces; two half sisters, Donna Baronas of Royalston and Maureen Webster of Orange; three sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and many, many friends including James, Bob and Lorie.
Besides his parents, Michael was predeceased by a brother, Eugene Camden Jr.
There are no calling hours.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date and time to be announced.
Internment in Gethsemane Cemetery, Athol, will be private.
