ORANGE —The following defendants appeared in Orange District Court on Monday, Oct. 26, Judge David S. Ross presiding:

Scott, E. Garland, 61, 44 Old State Rd., Wendell - assault and battery - probation until April 26, 2016, must stay away from and have no contact with victim.

Mitchell A. Carey, 27, Wollaston - breaking and entering a building in the nighttime for felony - pleaded innocent, pretrial conference Nov. 23.

The following defendants appeared in district court on Wednesday, Oct. 28, Judge Ross:

Jennifer L. Taylor, 39, 22 Allen St., Athol - threat to commit a crime, assault and battery on a family/household member - dismissed by Commonwealth - assault and battery on a family/household member - admitted to sufficient facts, continued without a finding until April 29, 2016, $50 victim/witness assessment.

The following defendants appeared before a jury in district court on Wednesday, Oct. 28, Judge Ross presiding:

Marilyn G. Pizziferri, 69, 111 Brickyard Rd., Athol - assault with a dangerous weapon (sword) - probation until April 12, 2016, must continue with mental health counseling, defendant not to have sole possession of sword, $50 victim/witness assessment - assault with a dangerous weapon (Sword) - nolle prosqui (Commonwealth unable to prove facts of charge).

The following defendants appeared in district court on Thursday, Oct. 29, Judge Ross presiding:

Sherrie L. Sexton, 44, 33 Bryant St., Athol - operating under the influence of liquor - dismissed by Commonwealth - registration not in possession - found not responsible. Motor vehicle lights violation - found responsible, filed - negligent operation of a motor vehicle - admitted to sufficient facts, continued without a finding until April 29, 2016, must attend safe driving course, $250 head injury assessment, $50 victim/witness assessment.

The following defendants appeared before a jury in district court on, Oct. 29, Judge Ross presiding:

William K. Sykes, 31, 384 Walnut Hill Rd. - operating under the influence of liquor, second offense - found not guilty - no inspection sticker - found not responsible - possession of open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle - found responsible, filed.

The following defendants appeared in district court on Friday, Oct. 30, Clerk Magistrate Laurie N. Dornig presiding:

Nickolas S. Dahl, 23, 1031 Silver Lake St., Athol - breaking and entering a building in the nighttime for felony, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (wrench), home invasion, mayhem (strike head with wrench), five counts threat to commit a crime (murder), assault and battery, disturbing the peace - nolle prosqui (indicted and arraigned in Superior Court). Disorderly conduct - decriminalized.

Michael A. Jellison, 33, 120 Highland Ave., Athol - breaking and entering a building in the nighttime for felony, assault with a dangerous weapon (wrench), intimidate witness, juror, police court official, home invasion, assault and battery, disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct, assault - nolle prosqui (indicted and arraigned in Superior court)

Christopher Jellison, 31, 120 Highland Ave., Athol - breaking and entering a building in the nighttime for felony, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (wrench), home invasion, mayhem (strike head with wrench), five counts threat to commit a crime (murder), assault and battery, disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct - nolle prosqui (indicted and arraigned in Superior Court.

William Cronin, 34, 80 West Main St. - assault and battery, robbery - nolle prosqui (indicted and arraigned in Superior Court).

The following defendants appeared in district court on Friday, Oct. 30, Judge Ross presiding:

Vanessa Arsenault, 25, 837 Partridgeville Rd., Athol - wanton destruction of property over $250, assault and battery - pleaded innocent, pretrial conference Dec. 4.

Chad M. Klaiber, 25, Gill - receiving stolen property over $250 - found guilty, probation until April 29, 2016, must stay 10 yards away from victims.

Mario Zink, 25, 325 Woodland Dr., Athol - shoplifting by asportation - found responsible, to be dismissed after $25 fine paid.

Marissa Leavitt, 23, Barre - marked lanes violation - found not responsible. Operating under the influence of liquor - admitted to sufficient facts, continued without a finding until Oct. 28, 2016, must complete Driver Alcohol Education Program, no driving until RMV restores license, 45 day loss of license, $250 head injury assessment, $250 OUI fee, $50 OUI victim’s assessment, $50 victim/witness assessment.

Jane Scanlan, 61, 7 Gibson Dr., Athol - operating under the influence of liquor, marked lanes violation - pleaded innocent, pretrial conference Dec. 4.

Jerome J. Martin, 25, 419 East River St. - unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, failure to signal - pleaded innocent, pretrial conference Dec. 30, 2015.

Carlos O. Casillas, 40, 290 Chestnut St., Athol - assault with a dangerous weapon (knife), assault, threat to commit a crime - pleaded innocent, pretrial conference Dec. 4.

The following defendants appeared in district court on Monday, Nov. 2, Judge Ross presiding:

Stephen D. Thorpe, 49, 363 White Pond Rd., Athol - unregistered motor vehicle - found not responsible, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, uninsured motor vehicle - dismissed upon request of Commonwealth

Ismael Mauricio, 22, Lawrence - unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle - found responsible, to be dismissed after $100 fine is paid, speeding - found not responsible

Timothy Partridge, 25, 447 Vine St., Athol - uninsured motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license - default warrant

Travis Shepherd, 34, 291 Riverbend St., Athol - operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, number plate violation to conceal ID - default warrant

Michael A. Woodbury, 69 Mayo Rd. - negligent operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of property damage - pleaded innocent, pretrial conference Dec. 14, 2015.

Tiffany Lusco, 18, Fitzwilliam, N.H. - leaving the scene of property damage, leaving the scene of personal injury, failure to yield at an intersection, uninsured motor vehicle - pleaded innocent, pretrial conference Dec. 14, 2015.

Jeffrey J. Cronin, 55, 85 North Main St. - leaving the scene of property damage - pleaded innocent, pretrial conference Dec. 14, 2015.

Christopher Baker, 27, 41 Walnut St., Athol - possession of a class B drug (oxycodone) - pleaded innocent, pretrial conference Dec. 7, 2015.

Wayne J. Poirier, 25, 6 Mountain Laural Dr., Wendell - two counts unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle - dismissed upon request of Commonwealth after $50 court costs paid, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, uninsured motor vehicle - dismissed upon request of Commonwealth.

Emily Kessler - 24, 5 Columbia Ave. - operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license - dismissed upon request of Commonwealth.

Michael J. Leahy, 41, 59 Wendell St., Athol - operating under the influence of liquor or .08 or greater - admitted to sufficient facts, must complete driver alcohol education program, 45-day loss of license, no driving until RMV restores license, must pay $250 head injury assessment, $50 victim/witness assessment, $250 OUI fee, $50 OUI/victim’s assessment; negligent operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license - dismissed upon request of Commonwealth, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, failure to wear a seat belt, state highway signal, sign or markings violation - found not responsible

Nancy A. Roussell, 56, 250 Prospect St., Athol - number plate violation to conceal ID, uninsured motor vehicle, unregistered motor vehicle - pleaded innocent, pretrial conference Jan. 4, 2016

Alissa A. Niall, 30, 419 East River St. - operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, uninsured motor vehicle, number plate violation to conceal ID - dismissed upon request of Commonwealth, no inspection sticker - found not responsible

Sean N. Loyd, 45, 7 Gibbs Ct. - operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, uninsured motor vehicle - dismissed upon request of Commonwealth

The following defendants appeared in district court on Tuesday, Nov. 3, Judge Ross presiding:

Robert Davis, 44, 399 Hapgood St, Athol - assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, disorderly conduct, dismissed upon request of Commonwealth, assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery on a family/household member - found guilty, probation until Nov. 29, 2016, Reflections program concurrent with Greenfield case, no abuse of victim, no drugs or alcohol with screenings; disturbing the peace - found guilty, must pay $50 fine/assessment.

Scott P. Brooks, 23, 149 Prospect St., Athol - receiving stolen property under $250, nolle prosequi
