Raymond P. Castine
ATHOL — Raymond P. Castine, 30, of South Main Street, died Wednesday, June 28, 2017, after taking his last ride.
Born on May 27, 1987, in Springfield, he was a son of Jeffrey Castine and Patricia Ferris and grew up in Athol, graduating from Athol High School in 2005.
Ray was a strong, silent person that enjoyed fishing, disc golf and motorcycles, but most of all, his time with his son, Raymond J. Castine.
Survivors include his parents, Jeffrey Castine of Orange and Patricia Ferris of Athol; his son, Raymond J. Castine of Athol; the mother of his son, Amanda Tamasunas of Athol; a brother, Jeffrey Castine of Athol; grandfather, Raymond Maronie of Orange; grandparents, Earl and Brenda Castine of Las Vegas, Nev., and Connie Castine of Athol; nephews and nieces, Dylan Castine, Aubrey Castine, Brooklyn Castine, Ella Castine, Jon Castine, Zoey Farnsworth and Ethan Farnsworth; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Raymond was predeceased by a brother, Jonathan Castine, on Dec. 7, 2015, as well as grandparents, Harold and Josephine Castine and Patricia Starkey.
Calling hours will be held on July 8, from 10 a.m. until noon, at Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main St., Orange. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Tully City Council Club, 365 Tully Rd. in Orange.
Interment will be private.
