United Way elects new officers and directors
FITCHBURG — The United Way of North Central Massachusetts elected new officers and directors at its recent annual meeting.
Elected as new directors to three-year terms expiring 2018 — Mike Hewitt, Hometown Bank; Deb Weymouth, HealthAlliance; Sheila Harrity, Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School; and Susannah Whipps Lee, Whipps, Inc..
Elected as new ex-officio directors to one-year terms expiring 2016 — Jeanette Robichaud, agency representative, Athol Area YMCA; and Donata Martin, agency representative, Boys & Girls Club of Fitchburg and Leominster.
Re-elected to a one-year term expiring 2016 — Robert V. Antonucci, retired president of Fitchburg State University. Re-elected to a three-year term expiring 2018 — Wally Dwyer, North Middlesex Savings Bank.
Doug Petersen, Workers’ Credit Union, was elected chair for a one-year term ending 2016; Win Brown, Heywood Hospital, vice chair; Keith Boissoneau, Sterilite Corporation, treasurer; Daniel M. Asquino, Mount Wachusett Community College, assistant treasurer; Henry Botticello, Simonds Industries, community investment chair; Suzanne Farias, DoubleTree by Hilton, campaign chair; Jim Javaras, BHR Life Companies, Alexis de Tocqueville Society chair; Robert Chauvin, Tyco SimplexGrinnell, clerk; and Philip M. Grzewinski, United Way of North Central Massachusetts, president.
